My hair decides when I work out.

I don't go to salons or get my hair cut more than a couple times a year but I definitely have to plan work outs with regard to my hair maintenance schedule. I have really long hair and only wash it twice a week and it's this whole long process from start to finish. I can not work out in the mornings before work AND wash my hair, it's either/or. Washing it on rest days works ok, and actually insures I do take a rest day because I know that's usually an important thing, lol. On the third day after washing, I know I can work out a little longer because I'll just be using dry shampoo and put my hair up in a bun so that actually works well for me! I think I've developed a pretty good routine for now. I have no idea what's going to happen when my hair starts turning gray and I decide I want to start dying it0

I am partially blad, so it really does not matter that much (yeah for partially bald, over weight, old men).1

All about the priorities from the bald man.

Weird. Almost like it's attached to you?

I generally wash my hair every other day and try to schedule my workouts so that I shampoo after a more strenuous sweaty session. I don't need to wash my hair after barre or pilates...but after bootcamp or tennis on a hot humid day just pulling it back in a ponytail isn't going to do the trick.0

You have no idea how many days this seems like the best choice. Except I cant be bald, my head has dents...but a wig...YES!!!
Lololol my mum has been suggesting for years I shave my head and get my hair made into a wig 🤣 ... For this reason.0 -

Agreed and mine often threatens to entangle, capture and strangle my bf too, not just me. 😬1 -
My hair used to try and tell me what to do, so I banished it from my life.1

If I get a haircut and blowout I will avoid sweating for 3 days but that is only 2 or 3 times a year. I work out about 4 times a week which is how often I wash my hair. I might blow dry my hair once a week. My natural hair is semi-crazy.1

I just pony tail or messy bun it most of the time. But if I do shower and fix my hair I still gym it because there's more important things 🤷. Then I wash it after the gym and fix my hair again.0

THIS! This so hard. It's freshly colored too so I'm trying to pull out as many days as possible1 -
My hair back talked me, so I decided to cut it.
