I’m thinking about how interesting it is that even though a relationship wasn’t healthy, and the person wasn’t good for us, that we feel the hurt and loneliness when it’s over.
We as humans truly are strange creatures..

Valentine’s Day ? Legit holiday and a day you should really let that special someone know how much you care ? Or just another made up corporate money grab and we’re all suckers -

    Money grab

I agree but I'll also admit I like participating in it

Yeah... I think it can be both 🤷🏽‍♂️

Depends on your perspective I guess

Kinda like beauty is in the eye of the beholder or something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it - like @Tanielle85 said we humans are strange

The fact that we all will die sometime :/

Like a plant of the field that, with time, withers away and is no more

i think about that all the time but i don’t talk about it much because it weirds people out

i got a playlist for thinking about it and this is one of my favorites off of that 💛

If this isn’t on said play list - check it out - I think it might fit

Tripping down memory lane on music and smells. Just got a whiff of gojo and it’s 1987 and I’m watching a cutie pie front yard mechanic sticking his tongue out in concentration as he works some kind of boy magic into a beat up, primer grey Mustang.

Love those kinds of memories. My cutie was a shirtless Harry Hamlin, circa Making Love, doppelganger riding up and down the street on a skateboard.

wow y’all had good taste in formative years crushes bc mine was this brooding sad boy who shaved his head and wore eyeliner and wrote songs on his guitar about cutting and now i cant listen to sunny day real estate without cringing

Does it help if I tell you cutie pie sold coke out of the front yard too? 😬

@tinkerhellraiser I wouldn't say good taste. I'd describe it as a time of less opportunities in the diversity of choices.
@MistressSara Haha, after all that *work* on the car, it was still a wreck. Hint.

I think it was the sports and fitness organizations that sent out their army of lobbyists to sway the decision for us all to use the word shart instead of fit.

    Why is it that way?

I'm not sure but I wish it would get lively again.
