Hi,
what does
minus -7 mean for my mon fat ? does it mean too much or not enough in my diet

    Too much or over your requirement.

    It doesn't really mean anything as the recommended value is 0 or N/A because there are currently no official recommendations by any health organization. Don't worry about it...they're good fats. Poly and monounsaturated fats are the ones you want.

    What cwolfman13 said. There's no min or max value set at MFP for monounsaturated or polyunsaturated so ignore them (or at least don't use MFP to evaluate them).

    Thank you so much for putting my mind at rest. Just started a program for pre Diabetic at my local clinic so trying to learn as much as I can as I need to lower my carbs and sugar intake

    I'm not sure if that changes the answer or not, but please lead with this info next time. If you are under medical supervision, they are the ones to ask. Most answers given here assume a healthy, but overweight person is asking unless otherwise stated. If that is not the case, often the responses are not appropriate.
