Hello All
I am a new Apple Watch user and have a possible dumb question.

I normally walk or ride a bike and when doing so I always carried my phone with me and use the mapmyfitness app and when I compete the workout it would automatically sync to the myfitnesspal.

I just recently purchased the Apple Watch with the thought of leaving the phone at home and having the workout sync from the watch to the phone.

Normally do a 2.1 mile walk and using the mapmyfitness app on the phone it has always worked out to be in the 300 calorie burn range.

Now using the mapmyfitness app on the watch it is only coming in at about 150 calories when it syncs

Anyone else see this? The myfitnesspal app at the bottom where the Exercise section is shows 2 items

walking 37 minutes 150 Calories
Steps Calorie Adjustment 0

Do you have your accurate weight recorded in the Health app on your iPhone? It may use that to determine calorie burn. I'm new to an Apple Watch too and am trying to figure out the best ways to utilize it for this stuff!

    Thanks
    yes I do
What I just noticed when I log into the mapmyfitness website and select edit the workout. I then unchecked the auto calculate button and manually hit calculate the calories update properly
