Hi MfPers
You’ve probably seen me post before about hitting a plateau! This happened about 3-4 months ago and I’ve struggled to get below a certain weight (I’m still 1st 5lbs away from a healthy weight.
I feel like nothing is working to get this weight loss kickstarted again - I did so well for the first 10 months and lost two stone. I feel like I can’t see the point in watching what I eat or exercising because nothing is happening.
Any suggestions on what worked for others at a plateau and what you suspect was causing it?

Haveyou adjusted your calories to fit your new weight? as your smaller you need less calories. With only 19lbs to go your window for inaccuracies is going to be small, are you accurately logging your food using a digital kitchen scale and double checking your entries?5

Are you counting calories. Are you keeping a food diary. I did pretty well watching what I ate. I lost about 65 lbs like that.
But to lose the next 35 lbs I had to count and track my intake. If you are already counting calories and using a food scale, do an experiment and cut some calories for a few weeks and see what happens.1 -
@hoops1888, this is a wonderful time for you to practice improving your patience and perseverance. Stick with it, double down your efforts and watch your miracle unfold before your very eyes and your scale.1

Thanks guys.
I think it’s time to have a serious look at my logging and double check measurement for condiments etc because I’m sure a tablespoon becomes 1.5 or 2.
I’m also unsure as well about my Fitbit, I hope it’s not over estimating calories or anything. I do have it set to being sensitive e.g. said I have it on my right (dominant) hand but wear it on my left wrist, and have negative calories enabled also.0
