I have a 34 letter phrase I wanna buy initial charms for. Every 1.5lbs I lose I'll add another letter. I can wear my progress on me and when my necklace is complete I'll be complete.

For my mini-goals I have listed:

[*] new workout gear(for a weight I am comfortable to upgrade from walking or running) - end Feb, check
[*] hair cut and color - end March
    [*] Swedish massage - May
    [*] lingerie - July
[*] Weekend away (at goal weight) September

Mine are new clothes. When I my goal, I'm planning on taking a trip to CA. Been a few years since I've been there and I miss it.

I reward myself nearly daily with little, tiny things. Like a bit of chocolate, wearing a fun lipstick, doing my hair a new way, new soap, etc. Flowers for myself...

I also reward myself with home decor/methods. Like we just bought new plates & bowls. I just bought myself a new serving dish, etc. New way to organize or situate a room. Scents for our home. Also rewards as a family - a new healthy dessert or treat, trying a new veggie in a new way, new music while we eat... Little treats here and there remind me I’m working daily at my desired goals - it’s a life change.

The way I see it I deserve new shoes, clothes and trips, etc. regardless of my weight.

To start with I had planned something small for each stone (14lb) I lost, like a manicure or haircut. As I've gone past them and settled into the habit I've actually started to accumulate the rewards, rather than actually do it, and I'm putting away £30 from each paycheck this year to spend on new clothes when I reach my goal weight. That way it's almost a make over at the end!

this is really a very good idea. thank you.

Losing the weight and improving my health *ARE* the rewards. :)
(For me, at least; everyone should do what works for them).

@vanityy99 I took your idea, and after I figured out what qualified as a "luxury lipstick" I bought one. :) Decadent!

I’m planning on buying some new clothes when I reach a substantial goal. I reward myself for mini goals sometimes by buying new workout clothes. I don’t have a lot of workout clothes so I need them anyway : )

how do you all reward yourselves?

    I don't.

My reward is being able to cycle longer distances and up steeper hills with less difficulty ... being able to climb 10 flights of stairs while maintaining a conversation ... being able to run a comfortable 10K or more ... being able to hike up a mountain and not get out of breath ... being able to wear sleeveless tops and know that my arms don't look too bad ...

It's also nice to be able to curl up in an economy seat on a long-haul flight because there's that much room.

    Stuff like that. :)

I’m finding it hard to find that one something to look forward to.

    Any suggestions?

When I reach my goal weight my reward to myself will be being able to wear crop tops and clothes that I feel a little uncomfortable wearing now :)
