I’m 44...back to where I started two years ago, and kinda mad at myself. A full time job after 17 years, and I went off the rails. I know what to do this time, and support is the only way to do it imo. Just trying to find balance, and stay positive 😄

Life is a constant learning experience. Now you are 10x better than before and will be able to execute far better. Hard to believe you're 44.

45yr guy in New Zealand here, a few weeks into my 20kg fat loss goal, which I hope to put back on as muscle. I have 3 young kids I want to keep up with and set a good example for.
Feel free to add me if you can relate 🙏

I haven't seen meal plans here. Someone else may chime in with some information. You can use the food logging feature and save your regular meals there. That's what I did and it works for me.

So there's an event next year. The Olympics for old people as my friends and I are calling it. The girls I usually skate with want to get a team together and enter. We just need 1 more person and we have enough to enter. It's going to be a pretty cool event. We have to take the Olympic oath and there will be an opening and closing ceremonies. Can't wait

Ice skating? All the close local rinks are done here at the end of February. Have to stick to roller skating until summer session. We have a curling league here, may have to try it next fall.

I'll be 42 soon. I like to do cardio videos at home before work, a lot of hi/lo and kickboxing. I run a little outside when weather is nice, lift in the gym after work, swim in the summer.

Such is life in southern Ohio. We have an outdoor rink and the indoor one close to me both close early. There are a couple open year round but they are an hour plus drive each way, kinda sucks. But with warmer weather and can get out the inlines and hit some bike trails.

I grew up skating basically year round so it's just natural for me to be in an ice rink in the middle of summer. This year at least I'll have something to train for

Skated some as a kid, but didn't really get into it until I turned 30. Started playing hockey, played for 20 years and trying to get back into shape to play again. Coached youth hockey for 7 years and was a ref for 12. Really miss it.
