What is everyone’s goal? What are you trying to do by the summer?

It was to compete this next year at the World Indoor Rowing championships at 55. Just found out it's going to be held in Paris. My stepson and his girlfriend, though, didn't get "the memo" and planned their wedding around that same time, so there goes around 3 years of training, lol!

I guess I'll likely have to miss Paris and compete locally or regionally (again) and make the world's the next year in 2021.

I'd like to place in the top half of the contestants. My times early this year (7:11 for a 2K row) would have placed me right outside the top 10 (out of like 20 some entries) for the 55 to 60 heavyweight group. I'd get crushed by the very top guys (around 6:10 or so, which is just incredible).

I'm beginning to segment hike the Colorado Trail this year. I actually planned to start this past month but apparently that groundhog was really wrong because we keep getting dumped with tons of snow.

I've started small amounts of trail running and plan to continue this and am looking for some shortish trail running races.

And I'm working on losing the last half of my weight which is 34 pounds

My first trail race in June. Then a half in the fall and a full in the winter.

Oh, summer? I read that wrong. Have my new gym set up in my house we're moving to next week and be back to rowing. Set up my new Plyo Box and Heavy Ropes. Ideally, buy a SkiErg too. Would love to say a heavy rack but I think, at my age, because of my cruddy knee, I'm beyond heavy barbell work. Rubber mat floors set up.

It's in AZ, and in my garage, so a portable A/C unit too!

Would like to add to my KB collection, though.

My goal is to be going to the gym regularly and keeping under my calorie goal. Hopefully that will translate into a 10 pound weight loss.

I don’t have any goals to reach by summer

I want to be able to run a mile in 11 minutes by the end of the year and do one stinking pull-up

I just wanna keep moving for the year!

I got a great adjustable kb on amazon. With the plates I have for it I will range from 20-40lbs!

Thank you! I’ve never been able to do one my whole life (or run a mile). It’s so nice to be in a place where these are possible

Redeem that 8-16 year old girl that cried over gym class 💪🏼

@Chelle8070 I hear that yes the goal to running a mile is pacing yourself build heart rate up don’t get on treadmill and run fast as u can then stop u should run at speed you can still have a conversation
