I'm beginning to segment hike the Colorado Trail this year. I actually planned to start this past month but apparently that groundhog was really wrong because we keep getting dumped with tons of snow.

I've started small amounts of trail running and plan to continue this and am looking for some shortish trail running races.

And I'm working on losing the last half of my weight which is 34 pounds

Lucky you! I thruhiked it 2 summers ago.

I’m not up to 7mph just yet but I’m working on it

I started couch to 5k in January but couldn’t even do the second week intervals.... so I just did my own thing.

Good luck in the competitions! I can’t imagine how much work goes into that

Our annual beach trip starts in 17 weeks. I'd like to be down another 25-30lbs and have a nice, active summer. We have a backyard pool that we'll open in early April, looking forward to that, and I really need to start walking more again.
