Most calories you’ve eaten in a day?

That I have logged, probably around 2,500. Before that, now that I know about calories I can probably estimate around 5,000 It's mind-boggling the amount of calories that restaurants add to things! I'm a volume eater and I go a little nuts over textures so I can scarf down a LOT of food.0

Since starting MFP I think my highest has been around 2,500 calories logged. Before that I have no idea how high I may have gone, maybe around 3-5k...0

I have no idea but i keep thinking back to one particular meal i eat somewhat frequently and it must have been well over my daily's maintenance calories and then some :O i'm surprised id didn't gain MOR Eweight haha.\
meal included a big portion of pizza with a TON of cheese (add bacon, ham pineapple). 1-2 beers. and most of a ben and jerry's tub of "tonight dough" ice cream. Sigh. so so gooood.
i can make the above pizza in a way to fit my weight loss calorie allowance with some tweaks and portion control (and still feel happy). but the ice cream...it's like 350cals per half a cup :P trickier to fit in. I actually have a tub of it in my freezer downstairs.0 -
Probably more than I want to think about or admit to.0

I'm guessing around 5,000-6,000 calories, when I was in the worst of my binge eating. It was definitely torture. I may be mashing an two days together, though. It all kind of mushes together when you're in that mindset. I do recall a day of a jet's deep dish pepperoni with cheese bread, two ben and jerry's pints, a taco bell quesarito, and a bagel from big apple bagels.0

Ya, my highest days would likely be due from pizza plus ben and jerry's, but I sure wasn't logging then.0 -

I can only imagine what my days would have looked like during that time if I had a diary of it. It was less than one day and more the fact that I was doing something like that almost everyday for weeks. Chances are I would have never gotten that high if I did log it.0 -

B&J is like 1200 cals per tubI logged what would have been my usual takeaway from Domino's just out of curiosity it was over 4k calories then we may have had a tub of b&j afterwards or the next day

Almost 9k, although there was a fair bit of estimating in there. This was physically my limit as I was well into uncomfortably full, but there was so much good food and drinks to be had at a post marathon get together
. I'm an active 5'11" 150 lb male and average around 3000 calories/day on average usually for reference.
Added spoiler tag because the screenshot is rather long for a daily diary of that much food and drink...2 -
Before MFP? Probably a lot. I'm afraid to figure out what my usual order of dominos was plus the alcohol that I would consume. If I had to guess it would be 5-6000 and that may be nice...
When actively logging on MFP? I think 1800 or somewhere close to that...0 -

In the 245 days that I've logged all food, my highest day has been 3,450. Before that, I'm sure I had some 6K-7K days. I'm taking a diet break for 8 days starting Saturday while we go on vacation, so I'm sure I'll break that 3,450 record since every meal will be eating out. Still, I plan on logging everything and will get back on it right after we're back. Hopefully not too much damage, but I'm not concerned about it.0

At 5'5", age 60+, while in maintenance, I've logged (with a lot of estimating because of circumstances), a few days I'm quite confident were in the 6000+ range (maybe 2.5 x maintenance), and relatively more around 5000.
I enjoy it now and then, structure maintenance to accommodate it, and recognize that with a very rare day of really big intake, my body can't/won't begin to store all of it. (Scale weight consequences are crazy in the short run - week or two - though.)
NBD. In year 3 of maintenance, age 63, BMI 22-point-something this morning. Life is good.2 -
I got almost 8,000 on Thanksgiving. I logged it just to see.2

My highest logged day so far is around 2500 calories.... that was going out to eat and having a couple drinks + trying to be somewhat mindful of what I ordered. Before I started caring... I'd say easily 8k... it's horrifying when you look up nutrition facts for meals/appetizers at restaurants and realizing how many I ate when I consider drinks and everything else I would eat leading up to that meal. I definitely appreciate calorie counts ON menus because it makes me really consider my choices more carefully. As others have said, I don't think I would have been so apt to order such caloric heavy entrees in the past... I always assumed they were WAY less calories than they actually were.0

No idea, but when I was a teenager and involved in sports I ate like a horse...same when I was in the military. I ate everything and had a hard time keeping weight on.0

Physical activity can make a difference when it's a big part of your life. Was just watching someone on youtube whose TDEE post-weightloss was HIGHER than their TDEE when they were 130 pounds heavier because of physical activity.0 -

I completely agree. I have also had some of the opposite surprises along the way. For example, Steak & Shake...their triple steakburger with no cheese is under 600 calories and it is not "healthy" with all that fat, don't get me wrong...but it fills me up even for hours of hiking. I get it with pickles, onion, lettuce & tomato and feel like I am feasting. If I had to guess, I would have thought it was around 900-1,000 calories.0 -

Yes...my TDEE is higher now at 183 with regular exercise and physical activity than it was when I was 220 Lbs.2 -
Somewhere in the 12K range 😬 My absolute favorite thing to do occasionally as a teen was to polish off a container of cream cheese frosting with a box of Vanilla wafers. I would be SO SICK after but I loved it haha. But...I’ll never do it again now in my 30s as I think it’d kill me 🤣 Of course my sugar binge needed to be balanced with starchy stuff so in the same day I’d also eat things like pizza (with full fat ranch), fries, etc. I’m not sure why I would set myself up for the kind of suffering that followed after!2
