55 and and just starting

i'm 55 and have always been heavy. i said it was time for me to get fit and try to take off one hunderd poounds.i have got 27 off and i started to give up again. that is why i'm on myfitnesspal,so i would have other people that are doing the same thing, taking off the fat!!!

    good luck and God speed on your journey, this site is full of people that are doing the same thing and having the same challenges and we all have one thing in common each other as a support group...     Good for you! I'm 51, and I figured, it's now or never. Hang in there. I'm consistently logging in my food, and am losing a pound a week. That seems slow to some, but it's 52 pounds in a year! I feel so much better already. I can't wait to see how I'll feel in a few months.

    I need to lose about 150 and it is a bumpy road but it can be done. One day at a time. If you mess up one day, there is tomorrow to fix it. It is hard but worth it. And together we can all succeed.
