You look fantastic! What was your plan of attack and how long did it take you?0

It was a process. It started by a choice to stop numbing my emotional pain with unhealthy things. Eventually I was eating much less, intermittent fasting, spending more time outside walking, hiking, then running. I had forgotten how much I loved running and being active. I included some basic weight lifting. The 90 lbs took about 18 months to lose.
Right now I am focused on calisthenics training with various cardio exercises on my rest days (I swim a mile, do a spin class or learn Krav Maga, etc).
The biggest benefit of MFP has been having a place to share small and big victories, since most people in my real life world get weary of my pictures and have started telling me I’m wasting away (and I have at least ten more lbs to goal).
Make small goals and celebrate every victory. Give yourself grace to be human on the hard days. Get back up when you fall. Choose movement that you can enjoy. Learn to relish food that is healthy with the same joy that you used to feel over junk (no—more joy, because there’s no guilt!). Life is short; love yourself with compassion, and push yourself to do greater than you expect.

How did you get your stomach so flat?0

But oh dear. Lest I give the wrong impression...
ETA: These pictures are 5-8 lbs over my current weight. My bf % at last check was 24.6. My goal is around 19-20%.
My stomach is not really flat. I have a lot of loose skin and stretch marks. One main goal for the coming year is to get some solid abdominal definition, but I don’t know that I’ll ever be rid of the excess skin. It’s very bad when I am on hands and knees, but I’ll spare you the pictures.
My goals are to get stronger and break through skills I’ve never accomplished before. But I can’t practically set goals for a perfect body.

You look amazing! Congratulations on your tremendous success!!!1

Outstanding. FYI, I look pretty similar to you and my abs started to pop at 20%( you know, the week before you go on vacation to the carribean ). It didn’t last, but made for some great vacation photos. Back up to 24% now. It was essentially the difference between 133 and 123 (I’m 5-7”) that made the difference1

Is it difficult to maintain at 20%?

You are a freakin' ROCKSTAR! Way to go! You look amazing and should be so proud of all of your hard work!1

You look great you really do. And also giving that honest insight about the excess skin. I know I will have as my goal is to lose the extra human being 133 of pounds I have been carrying around. I figure better the loose skin, than the poundage. But you are so inspiring,1
