How much did you lose and how long did it take?

I have at least 80 pounds to lose and just starting MFP back up today. I would be interested to see how much others have lost and how long it took them to lose it?

First 60 pounds, eight months. Last 15, an additional nine months. BMI 22.
Honestly, I was perfectly happy 15 pounds heavier. . .for a while. I was within the healthy weight range for my height. I didn't try to lose that last 15 in any hurry. It was more - wonder what would happen when I get to the middle of the BMI range. I'm happier at this lighter weight.7 -
I lost 43 lbs and it took 300 days. That averages out to a pound per week. No special diet just stayed within my calories and started exercising. I’ve maintained my goal weight for 5 years now.13

I have 80 lbs. to lose as well. I have been eating keto for a month now and it is going well. I eat clean and am usually until 15 or 10 carbs. I know I have lost weight, I just don't know how much. I don't/won't weigh myself because I detest the scale. Some days I think I have lost a lot, other days don't feel like as much. Good luck to you!8

I lost 100 pounds in 2.5 years. The last pounds came off far more slowly than the first ones.3

Started around April 2018, have lost about 50lbs.
starting weight: 167
Current weight: 117
no fancy diet. i eat normal foods I like in moderation (eating at a calorie deficit over the year). i`m just about done and will be finding maintenance for awhile and see what i decide from there.5 -
Depends on how you want to look at it.
I was my heaviest in Jan 2012 at 260lbs.
I hit my lowest weight of 120 in April 2016.
It did take me about a year to lose the last 15 lbs.
I was pregnant with my second at the end of 2013 and into 2014. So there is about 9 months where I gained instead of losing.
So let’s see that makes 4 years to lose 140 lbs. Or a little over 3 years of actively trying to lose weight (not counting the 9 months of pregnancy).
I am about 12 lbs heavier now than I was in 2016, but for the most part I have kept the majority of my original weight loss off.5 -
As of today - 35 lbs. in 200 days, intermittent fasting for about 185 of those days, MFP detailed logging since 10/28/2019 programmed for 1.5 lb. weekly weight loss when I joined. Training consisted of, primarily, kettlebells, pull-ups, running, walking and some other stuff. I have "arrived" at my goal weight but still doing all of the above to "guard" what I've restored. Have added resistance bands and isometric work to the training mix.1

I lost 95 pounds in a year and half starting four years ago, then put about 10 pounds back on, lost 5 of that, then maintained around there for a while yo-yoing around it a bit and struggling. I tend to think the struggling was related to the hormonal adjustments of having lost such a large amount of weight plus the fact that I got stuck in a cycle of over-restricting and then over-eating.
The struggling suddenly stopped and I'm able to focus again and am working on aesthetic goals. I've lost that extra 5 pounds and would like to lose another 5-10 more.
I was happy with myself at the weight where I was struggling (that was 120). I'm happy with the weight I am now (115). I still see pockets of fat that I'd like gone, though, so since everything is dialed in for me at this point, I'm just going with it and seeing where it leads me.4 -
I also have about 80 to lose and have lost 40 so far. It took me about 300 days, so just under a year. I'm not particularly fastidious about it.
Edit, I just mathed it out and I'm almost exactly at a pound a week average (1.05). That is awesome, I love math.
Edit 2: Nevermind, I hate math. It's more like .88, I flipped the numbers at the end, lololol. Still good though.9 -
I lost 27 kg (about 59 pounds) in a year. Now I'm in the first stages of maintenance.3

I lost 50 pounds in a 9 months; the year was 2001. I've maintained that loss for coming up on 18 years.19

I've lost 57 lbs in 14 months which equals out to about 1 lb a week.1

My total loss is around 140. Before I started using MFP, I lost my first 45 lb over SIX years...which is nuts, I know, but I was consistent (never went up, just very slowly downward from my heaviest).
Between 3/26/13 and 3/26/14 (first year on MFP), I lost 90 lb.
Since then, I have lost about 14 more pounds, though sometimes gain as much as 7 lb, as I bounce around my maintenance range (fine with that).3 -
25lbs over the course of 7-8 months.3

My goal is to lose a pound a week, and my results are pretty close to that. Ive lost 24 pounds in about 24 weeks0

40 Lbs in about 7-8 months1

I've lost 27 pounds so far. I try to lose one pound per week, but as a recent article here said, weight loss isn't always "linear." Or steady. So It has taken me about four months to do it, and sometimes I lost more than the target, other times, less. For sure MFP has helped a great deal, even though my doctor doesn't like "counting." The checking in keeps me honest!6
