Feeling a little bit discouraged because I've lost very little in nearly 3 weeks. But I know I can push past this plateau and get back on track, I just need to stay motivated! I'm sooooo close to onederland, I can taste it! A few more weeks and I think I'll be there at last!2 -

Thanks for sharing and, wow, fantastic loss in Feb!! What is your strategy?
Staying under calories and just moving, as I normally just sit all day. I try to get out and walk when weather permits. Being very strict with calories is priority and lots of water. I weigh everything plan for the day. I cut my sodium down to 1500mg and sugar down to 25g a day, however it is over this when I exercise. I do try to eat back some of my exercise calories but always still remain under calorie amounts. I am accountable with the challenges, I would rather post a lost then to have to post an increase because of over eating, lol
The big loss in Feb. I think was mainly because started again and lost some of the water gain, but still a loss.

1st Mar - 276 - This last week is the first week where my motivation and determination have just gone. I've been fighting some major cravings and urges to binge this week.
I suppose it's a little natural to be disappointed that there isn’t a 2lb weight loss, but given the week I had it’s actually amazing that it’s a 0.2lb loss.
I’m trying not to think too much into it. As hard as the battle inside my head was this week at least I didn’t give in to the cravings and have not put weight on.
I’m feeling better now than I did so looking forward for the upcoming week. I’ve got a PT session tonight and they always make me feel amazing. So hopefully I’m off to a great start.

9 more pounds to go. Hopefully I can make it. March has been a slow month for me.
I was in Chicago from Tuesday to Thursday for a concert. (The concert was to die for, and I'm pretty sure I did die. My heart is in heaven.)
I thought I'd be eating a lot, but we ended up eating very little. I ate less than 1,200 calories each day. On Wednesday we walked about 6 miles (never...again...). I'm glad I didn't eat 2000+ calories each day like I was expecting, but I'm rather surprised the weight didn't go down more than that. Interesting.2 -

For the past month, I seem to have a couple weigh ins close together and then a nice drop. Whatever works to get me on target I guess!3 -
This process can be very frustrating at times. Other people's solutions are a mine of useful information. It's interesting to see that several of us are working on fine tuning our food choices, and helpful to see what others are trying out. Perseverance and dedication is very evident.
Background informationWent up to 172 at the end of 2017 (Christmas etc), but have lost that again. I am very close to maintenance, so weight is dropping very slowly, but I would so like to hit my goal before my 73rd birthday in April. Also working on muscle toning at the moment, which isn't helping the scale but should even out eventually.Daily Health/Fitness Goals- Currently on Week 8 of a 10 week Boditrax Course at our local gym. (I won it at a raffle at a heavily discounted rate)
- Daily step goal is 9000. I do 15+ strength most days, targeting specific areas, and Yoga/Tai Chi for flex.
- I eat 90% 'clean/healthy' food and adhere to CICO. I do extra exercise to earn extra calories if I want treats.

Progress- I am pre-logging my food and drink to balance macros/micros, weighing portions, and adjusting the entries as necessary
- I am fasting from 8pm to 9am daily, and have replaced most of my sugary snacks with more nutritious, protein-rich alternatives such as nuts.
- I'm looking for a downward trend on the scale over the next few weeks. Intrigued to see if it will pan out.
- I am exceeding my daily exercise goals
- I am working on muscle tone, and developing strength and stamina

And as predicted, a little stall. My weight likes to go up one, down two, so we'll see if the pattern holds next week. I'm not worried since I was down as low as 126.5 around mid-week and ate a bunch of salty food last night, so I'm hoping this is just some temporary water weight. Nonetheless, I'll put it down and KOKO! Until next time, good work all!0 -

I'm thinking that making notes when I post each week might be useful.
01 Feb: 165.0 Started a muscle strengthening programme on the 26/1. My initial body assessment was very encouraging. Expecting weight fluctuations as the body adapts.
08 Feb: 165.0 My weight loss has halted, much as expected. In fact I had expected a small gain! Go figure!
15 Feb: 165.2 This process is seldom predictable. I will just go with the flow.
22 Feb: 164.5 Now that's a surprise. Mind you, I only did one gym session as my schedule was choc a bloc.
01 Mar: 164.9 Second body assessment showed some improvements. But fitting in the gym sessions was problematic.
08 Mar: 167.5 I upped my calories this week, specifically protein. And Valentine's Day choices have led to a bounce up. This always seems to happen to me when we celebrate.
15 Mar: 167.4 Focused on getting in some extra workouts, being more stringent with clean eating by weighing food portions, and replacing empty calorie snacks with healthy alternatives.
22 Mar: 166.2 Much happier with this. I have the odd blip, but generally sticking to my plan. Time will help me win through.

Hi All, I'm traveling this week and away from my scale, so no weigh-in. Also, I hurt my back and have been pretty immobile. So my exercise routine and calorie deficit is non-existent! I'm trying to simply make good food choices and not worry about a set-back because my whole goal is to maintain a sustainable balanced lifestyle and set-backs happen. But I'm certainly not going to give up over it! I'll check-in again next week and KEEP ON KEEPING ON!
KOKO everyone🤗

Halfway there, but just. These next few pounds are the ones my body likes to hold onto, so I won’t be surprised if the scale stalls. However, I’ve also upped my exercise, so I’m paying attention to things like new muscles showing and pants fitting looser (I’m almost to where I can put my bigger pants away now). I’m taking those as a win too.
Such a good point... the scale is not everything. I'm in the middle of a plateau and need to remember that the way I feel and the way my clothes fit are great indicators of continued progress!! Thanks for sharing.1 -

I see a lot of people getting really close to our goals. 💕 I’m pretty close at this point, but I’m also approaching a time of the month when I start retaining a lot of water so my apparent loss is likely about to slow down or reverse for a couple of weeks. I know fat loss will still be happening though, not going to let some water trick me.3
