Carb Counting

Is anyone familiar with carb counting? I am diabetic and starting the carb to insulin ration, any advise?

I am also diabetic...I am doing the keto diet....I count net carbs not total carbs...you are welcome to look at my diary ..wishing you much success0

I’m insulin resistant. I keep my net carbs between 80-100 grams. I make sure that most of the carbs I eat contain a lot of fiber. I also make sure that I have protein with the carbs, especially if it’s a simple carb, which I limit but still have. Protein will slow down the process of turning to glucose. I’ve been doing this for 5 years and I haven’t tipped over into diabetes.0

Lots of people count carbs and there are different goals. Did your doctor or dietitian give you a goal or plan?0
