Lose 20 pounds in 3months(ends 30th June)

3months are up since I first started with my weight loss journey ,even though I lost just 3kgs I learnt a lot.

Things I learnt through this journey and still learning
1) Macros matter
2) Higher protein intake has better results
3) Sustaining on 1200 calories along with weight training 3 days a week isn't ideal.
4) Scale doesn't matter much,how you feel and how your clothes fit matter more.

Things to change up for the next 3 months to progress
1) Increase protein intake
2) Increase calories little by little to reach 2000calories so I can get leaner( yes!)
3) Believe in the process
4) Drink more water

Anyone else interested to continue on this journey let me know!

    @TheGetFitGal what's the reason to increase the calories? How it is going to help to reduce weight.? Sorry didn't get it.

    The reason I am not loosing weight is the difference between my calories consumer and calories spent is high.
    So I was consumping 1200 calories and spending about 2000 calories so the difference is just 800 calories and the minimum a person need is 1200. I need a basic of just 2000 to get thru the day without exercise. Hence the body was holding on to the weight cause I was under feeding my self

    I need to lose 10lbs. I have also been on 1200. The macro calculator says my bmr is 1450. My TDEE is 1670 and to lose weight -500 is 1170 a day.
    I train with some walks, small runs and hiit/Pilates.
    I have just been doing calories but I have been reading macros are more important.
    It’s so difficult though.
    I just can’t reach them. Yet I hit calories???
    I just do t lose weight or tone the way I want.
    I have added weights.
    Not sure what to do??
    Would love to lose it by June.
    Will really try to hit those macros and see if that works.
    Any tips. ???

    I'm in! Hopefully you all are ok with me friending you as well? To see progress and recipes? As of 4/21 I'm 180. I'm doing zig zag calorie diet with 1200 as the baseline. I haven't yet incorporated any exercising; I'm building that in after next week.

    I am only down 1 pound 😂

    19 to go...got two more months.So I guess I should aim for max consistency this month. I am aiming for 2 lbs a week so it wouldnt be enough time. This is ideal of course but I am still going to put in the work. Whatever happens happens.
