Hello! Does anyone have suggestions for energy? I rely on energy drinks as I work two jobs. I would like something more natural. I know working out can give me energy but I honestly don’t have a lot of time to workout. πŸ˜žπŸ˜žπŸ€”πŸ€”

How much sleep are you getting? How many calories are you eating? Sounds like something is out of balance.

A lot of energy comes naturally from the foods we eat. What are your calories and macros like? Getting more potassium and vitamins can help. So can complex carbs.

I try to stick around 1200-1300 calories a day. I eat a lot of fruit. I was wondering if I should get some actual vitamins too just to help out?

Well I work 2 jobs so I sleep when I can. I try to get around 7 hours if I can. And I try to eat around 1200-1300 a day.

Hey homie! Especially being on the go, healthy snacking throughout the day can be super helpful to keep your blood sugar from dropping too low. Try to snack on foods higher in protein (i.e. nuts, yogurts, boiled eggs, almond butter) because they will sustain you for longer, relative to carbs or sweets. Also, black coffee, espresso, and tea (green, black, matcha, etc) are all more natural than energy drinks that could potentially do the trick as well.

How large a deficit is that?

Might be worth it to have a check up with your doctor and get labs done. When I suffered from fatigue it was in large part due to low iron (anemia) and hypothyroidism. Low energy is a classic sign of both conditions. Once they were treated with Rx meds I felt soooo much better! Also, just experimenting I tried keto for 6 months and I had no energy, I went back to carbs and felt energized again. If you are doing low carb it could be that as well.
