Recycle? Cans and ink cartridges at work oh and clothes, I donate to friends with younger kids or thrift stores
Compost? Trying (3 years now) but the man is making things difficult. Homemade compost that is too tall for me to stir.
Have a Rain Barrel? I WISH! But it would so not useful here. Like 2 inches of rain this year so far.
Have a Garden with... ya know... food? 3rd year in a row and unfortunately saddest one yet. Only lasted 2 months due to our lack of rain. Even with watering everyday could not keep it alive. Was so pretty too.

Yes - huge potable water for post hurricane
No - my land is terrible for growing food.... its an old garbage dump that was reclaimed, but the soil is still sorry

    I recycle...

    I want a rain barrel...

I have/had a garden... The deer ate most of it. Next year I will have a fence and will surround the garden with marigolds. SO, I have tomatoes... lots and lots of tomatoes... and lots of basil.

I recycle religiously. Or maybe just recycle religions...
I don't have a rain barrel, but I do leave my watering cans out when it rain. I also stand out there with my face up and mouth open.
I compost egg shells, banana peels, tea bags and the occasional squirrel I run over.
My front garden is flowers (which are going to be used for my fiance's bouquet at our wedding) and my back garden is veggies (tomatoes, hmong red cucumbers, orangello watermelons, green bell peppers and a variety of hot pepper) in a raised garden bed.

    Recycle? Yes.
    Compost? No.
Have a Rain Barrel? It doesn't rain in Texas anymore, so no.
Have a Garden with... ya know... food? No, but when I move, I plan on having one. Of course, by then, Texas might be a desert a garden might be impossible.

    :indifferent:

    I want rain.
