No-one knows anything about your day so how would you expect people to be able to make a judgement?
Is that a daily adjustment for all your movement and exercise from a tracker or just a specific exercise session?3 -
There is no way for us to know just by looking at that screenshot. What kind of exercise was it? I will say that for some reason today my garmin sent my run over twice so my exercise calories are doubled. You might look at the detail of the adjustment and see if that is what happened to you. That has happened to me a couple of times.0

Fitbit tracker excercise/steps...
It's base on your heart rate also...that is if it has heart rate monitor.
Fat burning (brisk walk)- 1000 steps
Will be less than
Cardio burning (uphill or faster pace walk/jog)- 1000 steps
Same If your steps are in peak heart rate zone (running)0 -
I don't log any exercise its only from steps.. like yesterday i had over 10k steps and it only gave me 600 for the adjustment and today it's giving me 1338 and i didn't do anymore today then yesterday lol.
I deliver on a truck this adjustment is only from fitbit steps no other excercise added.. same steps but the adjustment is double then what it was yesterday0 -

Go in your fitbit app.. check your heart rate zone.. it will show the difference why burn rate is different.0 -
Is it doubling your step calories? I have had that issue happen with syncing.0

Except for during weekends.. all average of 10k steps.. see how they varies.

They do in reality.. like I said.. depending what those steps are...
You can walk on inclined faster 10k steps and compare the 10k steps on leisurely walk on flat surface.. the calories burn between the two are different.
Don't just look at steps numbers.0 -

a) why have you eaten zero Cal so far?
b) have you been at work all day? Will you continue working and lifting the same way the rest of the day? If not, your adjustment will decreased over the next 10 hours as you prove to be more sedentary.
Is this your first day using a Fitbit? Did you change time zones today? You can ignore the values as they are more likely to be off
Check your fitbit's position. Is it right and further up your arm? Is the heart rate accurately reflected. There may be error there.
If you're lifting and walking resulting in increased heart rate there is a chance your burn is overstated.
10k steps could be captured via MFP's active setting. If lifting goods while walking them maybe even very active.
Until I got some feedback from my weight trend (connect trendweight.com) I would be tempted to eat at very active or even if fitbit said much more.
HOWEVER, I would not be dialing in anything more than 0.5 of deficit per week unless starting from obese levels, especially while ignoring most of my Fitbit adjustment.
Adjust your goals based on your results after a few weeks
