Why am I gaining weight?????????

Hey, I have been dieting for a while, it used to be so easy to lose weight, water fast one day and, bam! Down by three. But now I can’t lose weight no matter what....
I know this isn’t healthy but sometimes I try not to eat for a few days at a time! But my weight is so stubborn and I feel desperate...does this happen to anyone els? I can’t concentrate in school anymore so I got this app to reach my goals but if I eat the recommended amount I’ll gain a ton!!!!!!
Any advice?

I'm curious about a couple of things. What happens to your weight the day after your water fast? Do you go back to eating your regular amount of food...does the weight stay off...or do you gain it back within a day or two?
If you know it isn't healthy to go without food for 2 or 3 days why do you do it? ?

The weight stays off if I exercise enough, I do eat an ok amount after, and I do it because as long as I do it for short enough time it won’t have long term effects.0

Log all your food for a week or two. Figure out a reasonable calorie level with a slight deficit. Then eat some food every day. The weight will come down slowly, but you will be building healthy habits for life.5 -
