Weird food cravings

Ok, don’t judge me too harshly, but I crave chalky foods, things with a lot of baking powder, like raw pancake batter, or Bisquick. Anyone have anyidea why? I am wondering if it is because the baking soda relieves upset stomach? Any ideas?

Probably something to discuss with your doctor. Rule out any vitamin/mineral deficiencies.

If you had stopped taking your iron because it upset your stomach or whatever, I have no problems with this brand: https://smile.amazon.com/Solgar-Gentle-Iron-Vegetable-Capsules/dp/B00013Z0QA/ref=sr_1_32 -
Glad you found the pica article helpful. I hope it turns out to be something so simple to correct as taking a supplement.0

It worked! 10 days since I started taking an iron supplement and no more cravings for chalk. Thanks!6
