Three this weekend:
* when asked to doublecross my legs for a crunch during a class, I found I could do it. I couldn’t even cross my legs, period, when I started in September
* I realized a minute ago, I’m not planning to raid Target and Kroger for half price “after Easter” chocolates to “store”. Yeah, like all those many, many bags ever even made it a week in the past.
* I am a sucker for anything that sparkles. Glitter, rhinestones, sequins, anything holographic, I am like some crazed old crow. Yesterday at Target I spotted this in the kids department. My husband looked at me like “WTF are you up to?” when I put it in the basket. I was to embarrassed to try it on in the store. It fit. An XL kids size. Dang. Still waiting for the brain to catch up with the body, though. (Why is this? )

@springlering62 From one fish to another (my husband says I'm like a fish -- easily caught with any bait that sparkles!), congrats on the NSV!! That's awesome! Also, that looks sparklie af. \o/8

I did my 10 mile training run yesterday in 94 minutes. I just might break that 2 hour half marathon mark on the 4th.17

This morning I had a coffee date with a total hottie who is extremely successful and I felt so confident in myself. When he asked, I was able to share who I truly am and what I want out of life. We seem to have the same philosophy about life and our goals. He may or may not call again, but I felt such pride in myself as I walked back home afterwards.
I know the change in me is not just about the weight, I did some hard work on myself and it is paying off, regardless of how my love life goes.
The one cruise I went on had food seemingly 24 hours a day. Congratulations!1 -
Instead of the usual 3 digits of weight left until my goal, the scale read only 2 digits of weight to go today.
Pretty pleased at that. 52% done according to MFP.33 -
It's a little early in the season for it, but I've started occasionally wearing skirts without pantyhose in public. They're so comfortable and I'm just not embarrassed about my legs. I'm not sure this is even fashionable, but now that I'm 59 I do what I want!33

I was able to zip up a jacket last week that i haven't been able to zip for years!21

Just clocked up my 12,000th mile on my bike.31

I had a marathon session of trying on older clothes in my closet and realized that most of them actually fit again. I also had a male friend yesterday tell me I was looking great and he wanted to know what I was doing. He's probably the third person who's said anything and I was surprised he even noticed.20

When my bf asked me if I wanted to stop at the bakery after the store, I said no. Maybe the first time I've ever said no to the bakery. I'm taking it as a victory.30

I have two. First, this past Saturday, I took some clothes to my seamstress to be altered. She hadn't seen me since last summer, and she just about fell over when she saw me 40 pounds lighter. Also, I have seen a steady trend of my resting heart rate dropping over the past several months. The normal range is 60-100. I've been hanging out around 60 bpm. Below 60 is considered "athletic."

Also, I have 2 very disrespectful stepdaughters. They are routinely rude to me. Like if I ask them a question, they act like they're bothered when they have to answer me. If I make a comment as part of the conversation, their demeanor and facial expressions convey that I'm not welcome in the conversation. So, it's like they gang up on me. They treat me like I'm so insignificant, and not worthy of their time. (Think the "mean girls" you knew in high school.) They don't have the guts to be mean to girls at school though, so they're mean to me instead.
I know this is a petty NSV, but I am now thinner than both of them. I can't wait to stand beside of them in a swimsuit this summer. Sweet revenge, and I won't even have to say a word.40 -
after having been in a size 6x at my heaviest, My sister just bought me a pair of 4x pants and they fit! It is the smallest I have been since about 8 years ago when I last lost a major amount of weight. I had gained it all back and then some but I am now back down and I couldn't be happier.32

Here is another pic with me and the niece only in this one I have on shorts and while my legs are still big they're barely recognizable to me. It's an NSV because I've never in my adult life seen a pic of me in shorts where I'm not slightly disgusted with myself.

Ran 10 miles and got a 5k PR 30 seconds off of being sub 30! I never thought I'd be this fast. A couple more pounds and a few more runs and I should be able to join the elusive sub 30 club!21

Bought a size large cartigan today and i have been wearing 2x! Really made me happy today!26

This is my 50th day of logging all my food. I have lost 12 lbs. I just reset my goal from losing .5 lbs a week to one lb. I also walked one mile today first time. Have been doing 1-3 shorter walks a day.24

Today I needed to dust under the computer desk in the living room.
Last time I did that, I was unable to lower myself to the floor. I had to sit on the couch, scoot forward and ease myself down, and then roll (not crawl, because that hurt my knees too much) across the room so I could do the dusting. Then when I was done, I had to reverse the process and roll back to the couch so I could use it to pull myself up.
This time, I didn't need to do all that. I could get down to the floor, right where I was. And then when I was done--surprise--I could stand up again! Not without some pain. I couldn't do this easily, but I could do it.
Getting stronger. Weight loss is barely detectable to me, visually, but other signs are there.45 -
I went shopping and bought organic greens and was in and out without buying food I didn't need.19

Riding my bike for 15 minutes without feeling like I was gonna hurl! 🤮21

I was just sitting here, being lazy and watching YouTube when I had the had the realization that I could be watching YouTube while doing some (albeit simple and easy) weight lifting and cardio. It's not much, but it's better than just sitting around and being lazy.25
