I just discovered these myself. I eat one before my morning exercise at 4am. Coffee just doesn't get the blood pumping fast enough on its own, lol. They're pretty good, seem healthy and the calories are tolerable as far as protein bars go.3 -
I too am a fan of the Kirkland bars. I do switch them up from time to time to give my diet and taste buds some variety.

I buy them from Amazon, as apparently you can't get them at the Costco warehouse anyway. At least not at mine.1 -

Another vote for "One"; by far the best texture/fairly moist, holds up well on shelves (not dry, hard). Current favorite = birthday cake flavor
Quest = decent, hit or miss on many products (flavor, too sweet, texture) & overall VERY chewy/kind of dense but still moist. Quest Hero is a different story...mainly with the Allulose ingredient (will really test your limits of tolerance; GI cramping, gas can be a problem if you consume too many in a short interval of time). Quest Hero is a bit drier in texture (mainly the filling) still very dense & chewy2 -
Kirkland cookie dough and brownie flavors!2

@chris89topher thanks. I will check amazon then. Do you know off hand if they have milk in them or are they vegan by chance0

I don't eat protein bars as a meal replacement because they don't fill me up but they do help with my sweet tooth and I eat one for dessert every once in a while. I like Built protein bars. They where kinda strange at first but now I love them. Decent macros too 110 calories 4 grams fat 7 net carbs and 15 grams protein. Builtbar.com I also like some of the quest bars too.3

ONE are my favorites at the moment.
I also loooveee Power Crunch but the macros aren't as good. They are delicious like those wafer cookies though. Great as a dessert.2 -
@Amwa77 i have tried the built ones. I don’t really care for them to much. I found they had a strange taste.0

Oh man the Think Thin protein bars are so bomb! Its the only one that doesn't taste like poop in my opinion. The lemon one is my fave! Tastes like lemon pound cake. Brownie one is good as well.
20g of protein
9g of fat
0g of sugar

I like the "Pure Protein" bars and divide it in half and eat one half after working out at the gym. The flavor is quite good although I haven't tried many others. I was looking for one with the least amount of sugar.1

Love the Pure Protein bars (chocolate deluxe). Also a fan of Muscle Pharm Combat Crunch - and now they have cookies (which I adore!).1

ONE protein bars are hands down the most delicious protein bars I've ever tried. I now eat one every morning in place of breakfast. 20g protein, 1g sugar, tons of fiber.. it keeps me full till lunch. The glazed donut flavor is the bomb dot com. I buy them off Amazon.2
-
Quest bars- these two flavors: birthday cake and s’mores. The white chocolate raspberry is good too if I’m in the mood for that.1

@just_Tomek ahh i can’t do it. lol.. I wanted to like so bad but i just don’t.0

It is really hard to figure out which bars are "best" without tasting them yourself. Between taste and texture, what one person thinks is "just like a candy bar" another will think is vile
I heard so many good reviews of Think Thin that I picked a couple up, and I literally couldn't finish either, it was like eating compacted dirt to me! But obviously others like them, because they're still selling them.
It's more expensive to by them singly at Walmart or the grocery, but probably worth it to do that once and then once you find a brand/flavor you like, look for better deals on boxes or combos online.
I like a handful of flavors of a bunch of different brands, but even brands I typically like (like the One Bars) have flavors that I just hate.5 -
Outright bars are by far the best0

@tmpecus78 is that at gnc ?0

Thanks for this @kimny72 - these types of threads are common and frustrate me. Unless one defines what they are specifically looking for (i.e. macro mix, vegan?, type of sweetener, etc.) you'll always get a wide range of opinions that often compete.
I regularly eat a wide variety of protein bars: Questbars; Redcon1 MRE; ONE (regular); Robert Irvine's Fit Crunch; Gatorade; Detour Lean Muscle; MET-Rx Protein Plus and Big 100; BSN Protein Crisp; and Detour Lean Muscle bars. Also, Cloud10 squares, Lenny & Larry cookies, and Quest cookies. It depends on what I need calorie and macro-wize for that day (I pre-log a week in advance). I actually like them all!
The only bars I have tried that I was not happy with were the No Cow bars and ONE Basix but realize it may be awesome to others.0 -
@just_Tomek exactly...going to the store today so hopefully I will find something that I like.0

I like the Olly protein bars. Super delicious. Tastes just like a cookie. I also like the Luna protein bars. All the flavors are good.1
