Love Handles! HELP!

I've been on my fitness journey for about 2 weeks now and I've lost around 4-5 pounds. I can see my stomach and waist getting smaller, but the fat on my love handles has only gradually gone down. I know you can't spot fat reduction in one area of the body, but are there any workouts that helped other people slim down the love handle area?

Nope. You can't spot reduce or slim down certain areas of the body. The only thing that will get you where you want is a calorie deficit and patience.4

If only we could choose where to reduce our size... dream a little dream.
You can build up the muscles in that area to make it look better/different. You would be looking for oblique abdominal focused exercises.
Again, this won't make the fat go away any faster, but it will make the area look better once it does.

If it were the front of your abs, ab exercises can sometimes draw in the belly slightly to make it look slimmer, but that's not the case with the sides, which do not pull in. If anything, oblique exercises would make the area slightly bigger, since muscles grow when they're worked, they don't shrink.
Give it time - it's only been 2 weeks.
