    Thanks Momma for starting our new thread, and this week I did gain .5, but that's OK, because I just started all over again. Did my WATP this morning, did the 2 mile walk.
    Well, kids are driving me crazy and I've got to get going early, hubby has court. So have to get him money.

    Good morning ladies!! Sorry I have been kind of MIA!!! I've just been super busy with school, which is what I'm going to blame my gain on, but I know it is more than that. It is also TOM this week so that doesn't help. I've gotten lazy and made excuses for not working out and not eating right and that just can't happen anymore!!

    My big challenge this week is that I am going to San Francisco!!!! Exciting, but a killer for my healthy eating. I am going to finish an article with one of our adjunct faculty that lives there. I'm super excited as I've never been to California! But scared of restaurant and airport food for 4 1/2 days. However, the seafood will be top notch so I will try to focus my attention there.

    Back for personals later, I have so much to get done today before I leave tomorrow afternoon, including class and a paper that is due Thursday but I have to turn in early since I'm leaving. boo.

    Shanell - I'm with you, little gain but getting right back out there and changing that!! Good for you for already working out today!!

    Tudor - WOW!!! that's a big loss!

    it's 4am and we're up because Leith can't sleep (not allowed to nurse past 3am). His appointment is at 10am but he's even off clear fluids by 5:30. I'm so nervous frown I'll check in soon but any healthy, safe thoughts are so appreciated

    shanell... it's a new week. good job at the early workout, doesn't it feel good, knowing it's done and over and you don't have to worry about it.
    amylou...like with shanell it's a new week. i was born and raised just outside san fran. the seafood is great. that is a good choice. it's not all fried, (like here in the south). lots to see and do. have a good time. watch out for the sourdough bread. to die for.....:happy: i haven't been back there since 86. the weather is great. shouldn't be too cold, maybe at night.

    i am still stuffy, now there is a cough in the mix. which makes it yucky. still don't have a voice. i feel ok.
    i did have a nice loss. it's amazing when you don't add the bits here and there and the extra serving just this once, but, it happens more than once a week.
    i am going to do a light workout again today. the wii fitness coach, or BL bootcamp. just something i can breath doing.:wink: .

    well, off to watch my shows i taped and than do my workout, bake bread, head to store for sour cream for dinner.

    First off...SUPER BIG CONGRATS to Rose and Cathy and Em!!! NIce loses you guys!!!! You are killing it!!! Shanell and Amy, you have plenty of time to still reach your goals...don't let it discourage you!! YOU CAN TOTALLY KICK BUTT!!!!! :drinker:

    So I got on the scale today and was 190.2. I lost a total of 4.2 pounds last week!! :blushing: YEAH!!!! :noway: I'm super excited!!!
    My goal for this week is to lose 3lbs. But my biggest goal will be to workout at least one day this weekend...AND log my calories. It seems like I do so well during the week and my weekends just run amuck. So.....Goals

    Drink 1 gallon of water a day.
    Log my food each and every day!
    Be in bed by 9:30pm (except for Saturday) hehe
    Do at least one Turbo Jam workout at home!!

    I just want to take this time to say how proud I am that I am apart of this group!!! You are all wonderfully motivating!!! Bless each of you!

    wow! great job on the BIG loss!!! keep it up!! I find that weekends are hardest for me as well! But getting in fun workouts like hiking / walks etc. help me make up for some of my indulgences :blushing: :drinker:

    Ok Ladies, my daddy always says that confession is good for the soul so now is confession time. I am being honest with you and myself here. I gained 2 pounds this week. Of course according to the scale yesterday morning, I had lost one. I am bad about retaining water anyway, which has a lot to do with my diet, I know, but I think it may also be hereditary (if that can be hereditary) as all the women on my mom's side of the family do. But, my eating is nearing the out of control mark and I have to quit lying to myself saying it will be ok to do this "just this once" when "just this once" comes a few times a week. So, I have to stop. It is 4:30 pm here and I am already over my calories (even the 211 calories I burned at the gym today-didn't have much time, but I did what I could). So, I really hope to lose FOUR pounds by next week, so that I can be on track. More personals later, but I got laundry to do at the moment. Have a great day, ladies!

    WOW T-Rose and Cass, great jobs, hopefully after getting back on the wagon after being off for so long I'll up there with ya'll next week. It's easier to lose the recent weight, plus Mom is at 207 and I want to beat her to the 199.:laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

    AmyLou- Have fun in Cali. I want to take my family there to show them all the sights I grew up looking at.

    Pedal- Hope Leith feels better soon. Kids jump back alot faster than adults, he'll be fine. As for you, hang in there girl. Get back on track with me. We need to reach our goal this year girl.:wink:

    Kristen- Your supposed to go the way I went this week not losing.:laugh: :laugh: Hope your enjoying being pregnant, it gets better, I promise. Especially when they start kicking, loved it.

    Katie- Try to add to your goals to only weigh once or twice a week so that you don't see one weight one day and then another the next because everyone's weights flunctuate up to 3 lbs everyday. This way you won't get flustered. I know my weight bounces all the time.

    Lauryn- How have you been doing. Hope your doing good.

    EM- My daughter loved your puppy. And congrats on your final budge through the plateau.

    AmyLou- have fun in SF. You will do fine with your food. Plus, you can walk almost everywhere in SF, right? So you will have some built-in extra calorie burn.

    It was really quite a horrible day. Up from 3am with Leith begging and pleading to nurse, sobbing in my lap, then he was afraid going in to his appointment and for the last 20 minutes was crying, needing to be held down and calling for me. Yet he was sedated. I will also have a process ahead of me getting used to his teeth. I hear (from others) that they are a really good match - better than for a lot of kids' teeth - but he's my baby and I see every little difference and it makes me grieve. Honestly, a very very hard day.
    Thanks for all the love. I won't be on tomorrow but I'll come back Thurs :heart:

    shanell if donny has a few minutes after work to call me. i need some help with itunes. since my harddrive crashed. i want to find out if i can get my itunes on the laptop. my ipod went blank when i pluged it in. lost everything on it too.

    No change for me this week. I havent been able to go to the gym in quite awhile. My daughter had the flu and I was looking forward to going back to the gym this week and I had to take her back to the Dr on Monday instead. She had an eye infection, I dont think she is contagious anymore but I will probably leave her home for the rest of the week to make sure. I dont want other kids getting sick because of her. I havent been online in awhile. I had a huge banquet on saturday and I was really busy last week trying to plan it and everything. I am going camping this weekend with one of my boys and the cub scouts. Should be fun as long as I dont freeze to death.

    I will be on more now though.

    Morning! No time to really post now, but I somehow lost a pound last week!:noway: Weird! Who knows! Probably still the slim eating due to feeling sick in the evenings! Oh well. I'll check back later with more!


    With all my pregnancies the first trimester I always lost weight and then I would gain later. But it happened everytime.
