Weight Loss Plateued

I've lost about 4kg to 5kg the past 2 months, but now that I'm at 52.5kg, I can't seem to get any lower than that and to my goal weight at 51kg (I'm 160cm tall). I've been maintaining a 300ish calorie deficit every day without fail, and it's been at least 2 weeks since I saw any weight loss - if anything, I should have lost at least a pound? /:
I recalculated my new calorie intake for weight loss at 52kg but it didn't seem like that mattered too much because I was already eating lesser anyway.
Any tips or ideas why this is happening would be greatly appreciated!

Being 1kg away from your goal weight might be explaining why you are not losing anymore.
How much do you eat? Do you measure everything? Do you workout? Do you drink enough water?
I think that maybe you should start looking into maintenance and stop eating at a deficit. A fluctuation of +/- 1-2kgs is more than normal even on a daily basis when you are at your goal weight.5 -
Two weeks isn't a plateau. Two weeks is more sodium than usual or that time of the month or you wore more clothing when you weighed yourself the last time or the scale being in a different spot when you weighed yourself. Keep doing what you're doing and give it another 2 or 3 weeks before you start thinking it's not working anymore.8

I'm still eating the same amount as before when I was losing weight (maintaining 300ish calorie deficit as per the TDEE calculator for my new weight) - I've been diligently measuring everything too and drink about 1.5l of water per day, but I don't workout... maybe that's why? /:
I was planning on increasing my calorie intake and maintaining it after reaching my goal weight but it's taking forever, haha.0 -

It's probably a stupid question but do you get rid of sodium in your body by drinking more water or do you just reduce your intake of sodium in your diet? I will keep tracking it for the next couple of weeks, thank you!1 -

Water weight comes and goes, it's naturally how your body works and there's no reason or benefit to trying to control it in an otherwise healthy person. Weight loss isn't linear, and the closer you get to goal, the less wiggle room you have, and the more obvious the fact that weight loss isn't linear becomes. You should really only be aiming for 0.5lbs per week, and normal women gain and lose sometimes several lbs of water weight from one week to the next as a part of a normally functioning body.
3 lbs is not going to make much difference in how you look, so be patient and start thinking about how you are going to eat and move to maintain your goal weight, whenever you get there. Patience3 -

I guess I'm just being really impatient now, because I lost a ton of weight at an unbelievable quick pace at the beginning and now the results aren't so apparent anymore now that I'm nearing my goal weight. Thank you so much for the advice!1 -

This is why so many people end up gaining the weight back - they are so invested in seeing the scale move that they don't know how to focus when the scale isn't supposed to move anymore
This is a post I created a while ago, you might find it applies. Sometimes all it takes is shifting your focus a little while continuing to move forward. Good luck!

This is a great post. Sometimes it's hard not to put that scale number at the tippy-top of the goals list, so this is a good reminder. Thanks for sharing.
