I took the past 4 days to eat at maintenance since I needed some sort of break from over 1 year of dieting. Expected the scale to read higher due to increased sodium and more food waste in my system. Back on it today and hoping it won't take too long to get back to 139 lol2 -

Goal - To get back to my goal weight I only need to shift the last 5lbs of the 11lb I've put on over the winter. That stubborn 5lb have been so difficult to shift but it's time to see it go! Stop trying to achieve crash weight loss, eat well at maintenance2 -

I really wish weight loss was linear! I hate doing everything right and not seeing any movement on the scale. So then I start to slack off, and the scale finally moves. But then it doesn’t move again for awhile because I’ve been overeating and have to get back on track.2 -

I don't know what am doing wrong. I checked my Libra app and I've only lost 1.5 lbs since I started tracking mid-March. I have set MFP to lose 1lb/wk and at sedentary level. I get 1200 calories and I do eat back my workout calories so I average about 1400 calories per day. I'm wondering if I should up it to lose .5 lbs and see if eating more helps? I do weigh my food too.
Another question, do everybody weight themselves first thing in the AM or stick to the same time? I find I always end up at least 5 lbs heavier in the evenings vs in the morning.

@serinaster I usually weigh myself first thing in the morning after I've gone to the bathroom and I think that is what most people do. Weighing yourself at the same time is helps to get an accurate look at your weight loss. As you can see the normal bodily functions that your body goes through while you sleep makes a difference in your scale weight.
Also, weight loss isn't linear, so if you are accurately weighing every single thing that you eat and you are sticking with your calorie goal the weight loss will even out. In addition, things like starting a new exercise program will cause increased water weight and will mask your weight loss on the scale which is why measurements are a better indication of whether you are making progress in losing weight than the scale. Also, your TOM will also have an affect on your weight. Eating more will not increase weight loss.1 -
It's been a lot of work just maintaining my weight, but to get the scale to go down? Rrrr! Slow progress it is.
