3 way mashup-I give artists, you give titles of mashed up songs
    1.Crystal Gayle
    2.Santo and Johnny
    3.the Left Banke

Researched from the bottom and found the answers in short order. The name "The Left Banke" sounded familiar, but I wasn't coming up with any songs. "Santo and Johnny" I don't recognize.

The way we play is you need to answer the previous question and then you pose a new one. No biggie.

Let's shake things up a bit with some Soundtracking:

    Three Movie Titles*:
    1. Golfer's Shed
    2. Best Rifle
    3. Pedal Free

What Artist spans all three Soundtracks

*tip: Title uses the same number of words/syllables as the clue

    1. Caddyshack
    2. Top Gun
    3. Footloose

    Kenny Loggins

I saw a commercial on TV with a clip from the middle of a song I knew. It took me two days to identify the song. Here it is.

(Actress Anders from "Joey" + 1 / false) / what a kid might say after you give them some candy = [artist/song]

    Hints needed?

Updated the initial question. Added the " * 3".

Everyone liked Joey right? He was a character on Friends and then had his own show.

    Let's continue with some Soundtracking:
    1.Ugly Creatures Dance
    2.Not hard cyclist
    3.Off balance and discombobulated

What artist's music spans all three soundtracks?

There are 3 movies that these songs are in, they may/may not be sung by this artist but are this artist's songs/music.

Might number two be Easy Rider?
I see Carol King/Gerry Goffin wrote a song for that one. It seems likely they wrote songs for the other movies, whatever they were, since they were so prolific.

#2 is Easy Rider. It wasn't them but good guess. I recently went to see "Beautiful" the Carole King musical.I enjoyed the music.
