edited December 2024 in Goal: Maintaining Weight
Hey, I have been working on losing fat and trying to focus on lifting to maintain and grow muscles in this newbie period. However I can't tell if this is belly fat rolls or the beginning of revealing my abs. Let me know what you think. Caliper body fat was 30% and Bioimpedance on renpho said 24%.
I am 5'8" and 252 pounds.

It's fat. At "5'8" and 252 pounds" you have a long way to go.

I get a 2-pack at 5'9" and 168lbs for the roughest of rough comaprisons.

Yeah, I know I don't have that far. That is why I mentioned the body fat %. If 30% is accurate, my lean body mass is 175ish, thus I expect to have mine in the 200s if I keep lifting. But yeah, I tried to delete this particular post, someone suggested in the fixed thread that it could be my ribcage.

If 30% is accurate is unfortunatey a very big if.
In reality it's far too soon to be concerning yourself with anything apart from progressing in the right direction.

    Best of luck.
