I love soy milk, however I wonder if it is a weight gain drink or weight loss...

Foods and drinks in isolation are not "weight gain" or "weight loss" foods and drinks. If your energy (calorie or kilojoule) intake over time exceeds your energy usage, you gain weight. If your energy intake over time is less than your energy usage, you lose weight.
The unsweetened soy milk I buy is roughly equivalent to nonfat dairy milk in terms of calories and protein, for what it's worth. I'm not familiar with soy + black bean milk, but if it's unsweetened, I wouldn't think adding a different legume into the mix would make a big difference. If it's something you're making yourself, I guess it depends on your method.8 -
Mmm. Chocolate soy milk is my favorite.0

Soy milk is good, but hazelnut or oat milk is better.
...we're talking about taste here, right?2 -
Delicious, but extremely bad for my hormones. I miss soy milk, but not the hot flashes and mood swings that accompany it's consumption.0

Lynn is right about there not being "weight gain" and "weight loss" foods.
I love soy milk too. I think the taste is great, and it's good in nutritional terms too (which cannot be said about all vegan milks). The soy milk I usually drink is unsweetened, but with fat. I also sometimes buy fresh soy milk from Asian markets, which has a beany taste compared to American soy milk, but I like beans so I'm good with it.
I've never seen soy+black bean milk. Would love to know more about it.1 -
I rarely drink soy milk any more, but liked the chai and cappuccino flavors in the Svelte line and sometimes the banana one. It was handy when I needed to get to work on something right away.
But they are really nice for making popsicles. Chocolate can be nice for that also if in the mood for a fudgesicle. My molds are 2.5oz so I get four popsicles out of an 11oz bottle.

I prefer Coconut Milk over the Soy and Nut milks, but that is a flavor preference. No food is exclusively a "weight-loss" or "weight-gain" food, that would come from your overall diet.0

Only if it causes you to consume more calories. There are no special foods for weight loss/gain.
