05/23 - 183.0 - Mini whoosh. Back to documenting my days here. Went back and read my blogs and the daily insights are really helpful. I've been back to morning protein smoothie and packing lunch. Lots of seasoned tuna packets on low carb wraps for ultimate ease and squashing excuses.
05/24 - 183.4 - Yesterday did not go as planned. Had to roll with the punches but ended up eating out at a burger joint so feeling a little salty today. Retail job is giving me a lot more steps than normal though. Got breakfast sandwich this morning because out of almond milk but chose an egg white and swiss on multigrain for 240 cals instead of higher cal options. Packed my lunch though! Final wedding dress fitting tonight and 5 lbs up since last visit so fingers crossed!!!

05/23- 321.8- I’m really surprised by this. Yesterday was a celebration day in my house, and we had pie. I ate a large portion. And then me and my husband stayed up till 4 am playing a game together. And I woke up feeling swollen, with lots of inflammation. So maybe it’s a false low, or maybe I didn’t mess things up too much
05/24- 321.6- woohoo! I’m so excited by this momentum and I can’t wait to see it continue!

67.8 lbs lost since returning to MFP, Oct. 2017
81.8 lbs lost since Sept. 201712 -
5'5 F, 36. entered this challenge as I just got back on MFP , I've always found that the support and "forum" to vent, complain or check in makes all the difference.
05/23 156.9 - was surprised as this is actually 1.2 lbs lighter to "start" this challenge than where I was last wk.
05/24 155.4 – WOW. I’m happy that tracking, and my morning walk/run is paying off. a bit nervous as its now the weekend and cocktails around the fire will probably happen tonight, but I'm still trying to try to 'rein' things in, at very least I"m going to track! still very happy with my "week" as I have been tracking and doing my workouts/morning walk with the dogs everyday. I know its a stretch but I'm hoping to get under the 155 mark in the next couple of days. lets see if I can still lose even though its "The weekend"!!

5/24 - DNW - I need some love. I feel like crap. Going away party for some friends last night (a last minute thing) so I got 3 hours of sleep. Beer involved on nearly empty stomach so my poor tummy is killing me. I drank early and only had a few before I stopped so I could DD but it was enough to make me suffer today. Also, severe storms (still under a tornado watch that started yesterday evening) and more coming tonight. I'm just a mess. You all keep me going every weekday and I can't thank you enough.
Sending you love. It's ok, we all have fall off the wagon days. I"m a little worried because its friday and a drink around the fire usually ends up being 4... it's all good!!! accept that it was some gooood beer and you enjoyed yourself with friends, tighten up your carb count and up your water intake today, you got this.

goals for this round
*meditate daily

*lose 2 lbs (goal 154.xx)
Day/Weight/Comment
05/23 156.6 Hi Friends! I am back again. I have not been posting and half logging, but losing nonetheless thankfully. I am finally getting *back*to that place where I understand that I need to feed for fuel, not for boredom, sadness, variety. Pleasure is ok, as long as I am aware of it. And protein bars are evil. Candy in disguise.
I love that you're on the meditate daily plan!!! don't be TOOOOO hard on protein bars- darryl bars if you have them are good, but I'd stick to a half; I still think in a PINCH they are better than a lot of other choices "on the go" and while SOME may have the same cals as 'candy' you are still getting some "good" more so than the pure sugar and carbs in candy (the protein content can at least fill and fuel until your next 'real' cooked meal.) your awareness of your own strengths and need areas is great though, good to recognize when 'overdoing' something. Keep rockin' it!6 -

Recovering from abdominal hysterectomy and benign tumor removal on 4/02/2019. It was recommended I see a nutritionist since my activity is low to non-existent with 12 week recovery. It was fortunate I visited the community page on MFP and found this challenge. The challenge helps with accountability.

I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. I have been participating in this challenge since Round 40.

5/23 No Scale - I will update the numbers for the last round and beginning round tomorrow when I get on the scale after being in New Orleans for 4 days. I have hope, I haven't gone crazy and I have exercised every day. I've been drinking a ton of water to help with sodium. I went to a beach in Mississippi yesterday and walked four miles. I never get to walk on the beach. Had cheap fresh grilled tuna tacos for dinner. Delicious!!!! I love that my job allows me to travel to places I wouldn't have otherwise, though it makes staying on task difficult.
5/24 172.4 I'm not thrilled, but not mad either. I am down for the round, though up two pounds from when I left. I KNOW I didn't eat enough to gain two pounds. Hopefully, I'll see a drop tomorrow or the next day. My sick friend is out of intensive care and off the ventilator. It was touch and go for two weeks, but he's definitely on the mend. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. It's Friday before a 3 day weekend - WOOHOO!!!!!!!!12 -
I'm in but a day late.
