There is also the possibility the eating changes were just co incidental to something else starting at same time, say glandular fever ( random example of a disease of a few weeks duration)
I would keep an open mind, see a doctor who, depending on your symptoms, would run some tests to check for likely causes.9 -
Describe "so sick" ?1

I guess it's possible you had a run in with keto flu, but if you're still sick after being off keto over a month seeing your doctor is the best course of action. All due respect to the fine folks here an internet diagnosis isn't going to get you proper treatment if something serious is happening. It's possible that something cropped up while doing keto that has nothing to do with keto.4

If you've been sick for 6 weeks, it's long past time to see a doctor.
I'm not aware of any keto related side effects that would last that long, especially if you are no longer on it. Certainly mention your change in diet to your doctor when describing the situation. But it could be completely unrelated. Either way, get it checked out as soon as you can.8 -
Keto can have some serious side effects, even long term ones. See a doctor.18

With the risk of being silly, but just to make sure all bases are covered...
You're certain you're not pregnant?8 -

I've heard of woman with amenorrhea from being on it for years, as well as sleep issues.
Ketosis is a form of partial starvation.17 -
Hello OP - I think its time to see a doctor. In the meantime, I would suggest keeping hydrated, eating a balanced diet and trying to make sure you are getting enough sleept for you. Hope you are feeling better soon.
I am going to avoid poking the anti-keto crowd. I think we've all heard of somethng someone or other has heard of happening to someone somewhere else.3 -

I did see my dr a couple weeks ago. I’ve had a ton of blood work done. Thyroid, kidney, liver, electrolytes, gluten intolerance...etc...lots. All came back normal. Dr says that she thinks my body is adjusting still and thinks it will pass.
Sick, as in headache, nausea, shaky/tingly, dizzy, extremely sore back and back of neck. My arms are very tired and weak feeling. My thrust hurts like the feeling of having a lump in your throat, but the whole thing. My anxiety is crazy to the point where I can barely move my fingers without getting extremely frustrated and anxious, like when writing or texting. My mouth is extremely dry, I can’t leave the house without bringing a water, sore eyeballs. .....and this is everyday. No exaggeration. It’s been hell.
I’m at a loss and just wondered if anyone’s ever heard of anything like it.
I have another appointment with my dr this week..4 -
How / how much are you eating now?0

I went back to a regular diet. I try not to overeat though. I’ve always been a carb lover.3

Basic question was whether you're continuing in a (potentially) steep deficit at this time. Sounds like the answer is... no?0

If you or anyone has curiosity about eating LCHF or keto, check out the group on MFP called Low Carber Daily Forum. Lots of people thriving on it for years... Here is a discussion on avoiding keto flu: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10358179/low-sodium-and-keto-flu-electrolyte-imbalance-may-be-your-problem#latest9

But OP stopped eating keto 4 weeks ago.
Look I' m sure keto suits some people and they thrive on it for years - but i really dont think that is the issue here
That is not at all what OP is asking.

I hope your Dr. is able to pinpoint the issue and get you treated quickly. Hang in there...5 -
Hello again OP and I am sorry you are still feeling so poorly. I am wondering if a lot of these symptoms may be driven from your (understandable) anxiety ? I had a period of anxiety when I was younger and it showed as these symptoms and more. Sometimes people don't realise that anixety can cause so many physical symptoms. I am glad you are going back to the doctors - they are best placed to help you !8

I AM NOT A DOCTOR. Ok, just wanted to make that clear. If your regular doctor doesn't check your thyroid again go see someone else. This sounds dangerous and like hyperthyroid. Could be anything and you definately need an endocrinologist to diagnose and treat you. If no one else helps you go the the emergency room.
