Did they leave it for you, or did you just eat someone else's chocolate?11

Yh just borrowed it I’ll get her another one😂8

Maybe in the future recognize that it's not yours and unless she gives you the okay to eat it leave it where it is? I'd be pissed if someone did that to me, and I don't do that to others.
ETA: you absolutely could help yourself. You made a choice, it didn't accidentally fall in your mouth.49 -

Different families have different views on things like that. My wife's family is actually quite adamant that no one is allowed to reserve food for themselves. If it is not on your plate about to go in your mouth it is fair game.17 -
For whoever took this seriously she was ok with it I don’t really think it’s a big deal plus I had got her another one straight away it was just a laugh that I ran so long then ate that lol44

You have got nothing better to do then have a rant and put negative comments on posts you would be pissed if someone ate your chocolate bar you need to chill out and live a little..😂37 -

Thank you for your guidance Chill enough for ya? And yes it does bug me when people eat my food and treats willy-nilly. I treat myself very rarely these days with food, so yeah I'd be a little miffed that something I'd saved was snapped up by someone else. And I hate the "I couldn't help myself" excuse *shrug*36 -
I’m glad your fitness goals are going well for you and hope you do well in the future the post was meant to be humorous wasn’t supposed to cause any offence my family are a close family if we eat each others food we replace what has been eaten sorry if the post caused you any offence20

He didn't eat your food so no need to be miffed about it.26

It didn't cause any offense, I tend to have a knee-jerk reaction to some things. That's on me. I'm glad your family has that good dynamic.15 -
Cadbury creme eggs are the bomb, I'd steal my sister's, too!
She takes my clothes all the time anyway, it's not like we wouldn't be even. =D6 -

dang... The judgments are high with some on this thread. Man... I hear you. I can be good all day and the wheels come off. hang in there man. Take one day at a time, one meal at a time... Not that you are asking for advice, but having guilty pleasures in the house make the fight all that harder. Realize it wasn't yours, but I got kids and no matter how good we try to be, a well meaning neighbor brings over a plate of cookies. I get it and all we can do is try.7

Leave it on the top shelf then it's fair game - if you don't want me to eat it for you then you should have hidden it in the salad crisper!14
