So I will be at my goal weight soon of 155 at 5”7. I have a curvy body and want to maintain “slim thick” appearance. I’ve been 160 before & looked really skinny, so I don’t want to get any skinnier than my goal weight. So my goal after the weight loss is to gain a lot of muscle in mainly my booty especially & simultaneously keep decreasing my waist size. Should I bulk and then cut & repeat ? Or should I recomp ? Would recomping still give me booty gains ? If so how much should I be eating ? How much cardio should I do ? How much protein ? Help lol

I'm currently doing strong curves (though more like 2x a week than 3 as I like do to another fitness class at my gym). It seems good for the booty. Echoing recomp suggestions.

I would maintain your calorie intake. Not necessarily bulk, but make sure you’re not losing weight. And yes, I agree that you should make sure you’re getting enough protein. Honestly, squat heavy. Work your hamstrings as well. Training legs and booty 3 days/week worked wonders for me.

I've been recomp for a long time..I think two years.. It works but it's very slow... For booty gains: 3-4x a week hip thrust, squats, deadlifts, etc without over training. I don't do much if any cardio I eat close to sometimes over 3000 Cal a day trying to hit 120-140 grams protein, but I'm very active. I'm similar height as you.
