Hey guys! I’m getting ready to start loosing some weight after having my 5th and last baby! Still researching some stuff and trying to get motivated. But I will get going and serious on June 1. Who is with me!? I plan on cutting out carbs and sugar as much as I can. I’m not gonna deprive myself though and neither should you. Been reading up on counting macros, so should you! I also am researching Intermittent fasting, seems easy and I think I’ll like it. Let’s do this together! I’m not big on working out so I’ll def need to get my butt up. And I love carbs so it’ll be a challenge. Who’s in!?

Eating fewer calories is required for weight loss but eating less carbs is not. Carbs include grains, vegetables, starches and fruit. I myself eat a diet comprised of lots of carbs and I'm losing weight just fine.10

Start logging today. Weigh everything solid, weight or measure all liquids and be honest! Then on June 1st you can look back at what you typically eat and figure out some changes that are going to be sustainable.11

Be careful with researching things online. There is a lot of false information out there that sounds credible but it is not based on real science or it is not based on human studies. When you start you should only change what will help you easily get into a calorie deficit without being hungry all day. You can make other changes over time but keep them small and sustainable. I think the best plan is the one that feels the most normal to you. The more drastically you change the less normal it will feel. I was never able to start a weight loss plan with major changes and keep it going. My weekly diet is much different than when I began 15 months ago but it all happened gradually.5

In order to lose weight, you must be in a calorie deficit. That’s literally all that is required. You do not need to cut carbs/sugar, follow any specific macro proportions, or do IF. Those things are all personal preferences that do not do anything special for weight loss.10

I'd like to get in on this. I went to a weekly weight loss group with a friend they stopped and encouraged me to stop with them. I'm a bit angry at myself for doing this as I was doing quite we and I gave now gained some weight back.
I bed to lose 30lb initially and then ill see how I feel from there.

Hi! I had posted about starting a 30 Day challenge starting June 1, doing at least 30 min of exercise every day for the entire month June! Anyone want to join me?

So how has everyone done today? It’s a challenge for me when I have 5 kids, and one being not even 2 months. Ugh 🤦🏼♀️ how do even do the exercises I want!? I need some quick ones I think. I think motivation is what I need mostly. I ate pretty well. When I did eat!0

I’m in 👍 Would love to lose 8lb in June. A day late but I’ve had a great day so far. I’ve done a run today but that’s hard to do with little ones, I love walking my dog & you can get loads of steps up with your pushchair? Good luck all 🤞0

If you are still looking for a friend I am a mom of 6 and working hard. I am adding two new skills to focus on slowly so that I dont burn out trying to do too much right away. So right now my goals are to meet my water goals and to do 10,000 steps a day. I am also training for a 5k for August 3rd.2

Foodwise being good today, spent about an hr doing intense gardening! So intense I lost my footing and broke my fall with my hand and possibly spraining my thumb 😬🙈 but that won’t stop me from eating healthy and making positive choices, although could make cooking a bit more tricky!0

I’m in! June 1st was a cinch. I exercised 30 minutes. I ate decent - had a caloric deficit. Today I looked into the keto diet. Nervous about low carbs because I love potatoes and sandwiches.0

Hi I re-started keto/exercising 6/1. Exercising not so much just yet. Got pretty sunburned over the weekend - very badly but did start keto and at least starting there. Trying to meal prep for the week and getting the planning going for that. That is always my downfall - not being prepared!0

Feel free to add me as a friend. It is always nice to have more people to motivate you. I started 6 weeks ago and I have lost 9 pounds so far. I still have a ton of weight to lose. I'm trying to cut down on sugar. My goal is to lose 70 pounds in the next year and a half.0
