Plan weightlifting routine?

How can I plan a beginner workout routine if I want to join the gym? I currently weigh 9 stone 3 pounds, goal is 8 stone 8 pounds or less, and to lose body fat (but not so much by cardio). How do I start weightlifting? How many sets & reps? How many hours a week?

Some are free, some are books and some you have to pay for. It really depends on your goals. Strong lifts and Starting Strength are good for beginners who want to focus on learning the basic main lifts and increase strength. Strong Curves is good for more glute/physique goals, it should be free but I do recommend buying the book. It was what I followed in the beginning and I really enjoyed it.0 -
And there are many free workout plans on the jefit app/website.0
