    Sitting here at 12:36 am avoiding getting up to decorate for one of my sons birthdays. I love them all more than life itself but sometimes I curse myself for starting this tradition of them waking up to streamers on their birthday. Fun avoidance #2.....with 5 kiddos how many times have I done this so far.
    47 times. FORTY SEVEN TIMES! If I keep going until age 18 I will have done it 90 times. (And now I weep a little internally realizing I’m more than 1/2 done. Lol. The struggle is real.)

    MelG7777 (raised 1 adult biological,1 2yr old bio,2 step kids,5 nieces/nephews = 9!). Here’s the Trick : Wait for the 1st Birthday of the year start a new tradition! Or on a piece of paper figure out how many each has had when it looks equal enough start new tradition,or next one coming up start.Start with something simpler that fits you guys . 1.Camping trip? 2. Trip to the movies friends bring their own cash! 3.Chuckie cheese 4. Day out 1on 1 with Mom/Dad where their the full attention (can play it by ear go anywhere from a museum to restaurant to even a swap shop or park doesn’t matter they have ALL of your attention they feel like King/Queen of the world!
