    Hi there and welcome 😊
It sounds like you definitely struggle with some disordered eating patterns (I can relate!) which is usually the sign of some unresolved underlying emotional issue(s). I don’t mean to pry but have you ever been to therapy? Your poor soul probably has some deep wounds that you may need to attend to and it usually helps to have a professional to talk to. Do you have good family support?

Absolutely NEVER eat 1000 or less calories per day. That is essentially starving yourself, and especially in your 20s do you really wanna deal with the bad skin, hair loss and brittle nails, to start with? Because that's what you get when you starve.

A base minimum is 1200 calories but even that will be extremely low for you. Put your stats and goals into MFP and eat the calories it tells you, safely lose weight, and live a long healthy life.

Step one is a kitchen scale. Weigh and record everything you eat.

Start with your eating plan focused on your deficit calories from around 1600 calories (+/-) when you're inactive Vs your deficit calories on your most active days around 3,200 calories. I worked out too for 4 hours (2 hours in the AM before breakfast; 2 hours in the PM after dinner) years ago when my weight was close to 400 lbs* upon entering myfitnesspal in November 2012, having already dropped 100s beforehand that very same year. The workout was simple - Walked for the first hour- flat and long and the 2nd hour was along incline trails and the city stairs. Unfortunately, at that time, I did eat at an extreme deficit. I had people overseeing how and what I was to eat and at what volume. The circumstances surrounding that were equally dramatic, so with that said, PLEASE know that to achieve favourable aesthetic results, start and continue with your eating plan responsibly always. I'm fortunate that the pressures I'd had to endure did not affect my outcome.

Hi Maegan, definitely make use of MFP. Be honest when setting up your profile and your goals, and aim to lose 1-2 lbs a week. Remember that this isnt a race! My suggestion to you is to make sure you eat higher protein, moderate fat and lower (but NOT no!) Carbs. Drink 2-3 litres of water a day, and be vigilant about logging your food. I also suggest buying a food scale & measuring cups/spoons, I used to way overestimate my portions.

One day at a time! Feel free to add me if you like.
