I need more protein!!

I easily meet my macros on carbs but I struggle with finding good sources of protein for meals and especially snacks through the day. What are your favorite protein packed snacks?

Cottage cheese (2% fat) and Greek Yogurt are some good snacks. However at meal time, chicken breast or lean beef are great options.

What is your situation such that you can't get enough protein in your meals at home?

I don't eat snacks for protien though its possible the trace amounts might help for MPS depending when you eat compared to your last meal. Current science suggests that protein consumption is complicated but leaning towards a reset window for MPS.

If you're short on protien I'd advice protien from animal products which contains EAA such whey, tuna, steak, fish, jerky, chicken, etc or equivalent doses off EAA from non carnivores protien to get best results when coupled with a resistance training.

There's a huge database you can check out here: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10247171/carbs-and-fats-are-cheap-heres-a-guide-to-getting-your-proteins-worth-fiber-also/p1 (It's one of the stickied "must reads" at the top of the Food and Nutrition board if you need to find it again)

There's a great thread about protein here:

Find foods you enjoy on the very, very extensive linked spreadsheet, eat more of those, a little less of something else that has relatively many calories, but isn't so much helping you meet your nutritional goals.

Built bars have 110 calories with 15 grams of protein. They come in several flavors. Chocolate (which is good chocolate) covered with a soft center, most are fruit flavored, but there’s chocolate and vanilla too. I really like them. Received my 3rd order just yesterday. Chocolate banana and chocolate chocolate. I found out about them a few months ago here on MFP. As far as I know, you can only get them online. Really gives a boost to my protein.
A lot of good suggestions here. I like Perky Turkey jerky too.

I don't snack, so I just get my protein from my meals. If snacks are important to you, some options with protein are greek yogurt and cottage cheese. Hard boiled eggs and nuts will have some, but are more fat than protein. It really depends on how much you need from snacks.

Protein bar or Greek yogurt. I try to have protein every meal (eggs, tuna or chicken, chicken or fish) and 1 1/2 servings with dinner. I'm only going by MFP protein recommendations and usually go over.

There are so many studies out there how much and what kind of protein an average person needs. I do not always reach my daily protein gram goal but so far I am not worse for wear. It's totally different if I don't have a strong cup of coffee a day...

Greek yogurt, mighty muffin with probiotics is actually very good and very high in protein. You can get that in the baking section of the grocery store.

I just discovered the joys of chicken gizzard. Very very cheap source of protein!!!! Little to none fat or carbs as well. It requires conscious effort to meet your goals
