I found this on the internet and made it for lunch .
I didn't use two chicken .
I only used 1 chicken and cut it like a butterfly .
It was really good .
I will be making this in the future and wanted to share this with anyone on a low carb diet .

INGREDIENTS
2 chicken, butterflied and cut into two
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp italian seasonings
1 tbsp celtic sea salt
2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup pasta sauce
1 cup mozzarella, I like using thick strings
1/4 cup parmesan
12 pepperoni
cilantro, optional
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Butterfly chicken breasts and cut into two.
Season each breast with salt and herbs.
Add olive oil to a heavy pan, let heat until shimmery.
Add chicken to pan in batches, brown each side well, about 4 minutes. Chicken will not be to 165 degrees internal temp - that is ok.
Add chicken to baking sheet, and top with sauce, more herbs, and cheese.
Place pepperonis on chicken.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and melted, and chicken has reached internal temp of 165 degrees.
Top with cilantro if desired.

In the picture above you .
It's a chicken pizza3 -
Its fairly calorific but I suppose if you can fit it in. I wouldnt call it a pizza though, its like a chicken bake thing.3

To even out the chicken, put it between plastic wrap and pound it. It looks yummy.3
-
Did you eat all of that yourself? That's a ton of calories for lunch.
Just guessing on the chicken, but:
6 ounces of chicken - 420 cals
2 tbsp oil - 238 calories
1 cup pasta sauce - 70 calories
1 cup mozz - 390 calories
.25 cup parm - 108 calories
12 pepperoni - 120 calories
1346 calories!!! Holy *kitten*!!! Low carb =/= low calorie.7 -
That does look delicious. But really, isn't it really chicken parm with pepperoni on top?8

I was going to just call it cheesy pepperoni chicken. Your version sounds fancier
I agree that it looks and sounds good. Based on simple volume of food and the calories this is something I would be willing to try making for dinner to last both my husband and I for 2 nights.1 -
that looks wonderful. not what i'd call a pizza, but i'll certainly make it sometime. thanks!1

That's chicken parmigiana, I can say that definitively as a NY Italian. Put that on a pile of spaghetti and you'll find it in every diner in the tri state area (although I guess the pasta would defeat the purpose for low carb
)
That would be a lot of calories for me, but it looks yummy and I'm glad you found it!2 -
That's a LOT of cheese and oil for such a small amount of chicken. It's a lot of sauce too since there is no pasta or other things with it. To save calories I would definitely reduce the amount of all 3 items. Oh wait that's a ton of parmesan too. So reduce the volume of 4 items. Even low carb, you have to watch calories to lose or maintain weight. That's a lot of sauce for low carb. 👀
I agree it's chicken parm instead of pizza too. Delicious. Not pizza.

Thank you for sharing.1

Agree with above that it looks tasty and calorific, but I wouldn’t call it pizza...
Also I know it’s optional but cilantro on pizza? Seems like an odd addition.2 -
There's a chicken pizza base you can mack that is really a quite good alternative to cauliflower or fathead pizza look it up on Youtube.1
