How does it work?0

So it's not a tool for making kishka? (If it is, animal intestines are more traditional than rolling up the meat and buckwheat in your own belly skin.)4

I don't think any of those things work. The only things that seem to work with loose skin is putting on more muscle, time and luck. Or surgery, especially if there's a lot of loose skin.5 -

It has little itty bitty needles you run over your skin so it heals itself and get blood flow going plus makes collagen.... apparently1 -

I've never tried it, but the theory they're selling doesn't seem very likely. When your body heals an injury, it tends to make extra tissue (think thicker bones at the point where they were broken, or scars in your skin). So I don't see how poking holes in your skin is going to extra skin just disappear.2 -
You can improve the appearance of the skin by using it. But since the creams will go deeper because of needles use a natural product like Shea. I used Shea bar of soap by Palmer's on my body and it improved my stretch marks a lot.9

I haven’t tried it myself but a close friend of mine used one and her tummy skin improved dramatically. I intended to try it when I reached closer to my goal weight but then I had a baby and never got a chance to yet lol1

I have no experience with the results of using it for loose skin. But for wrinkles and/or stretch marks, it absolutely does work. I’ve even spoken to my dermatologist about it, and while he of course would rather I spend 100s of dollars getting “microneedling” at his office, the concept is the same. It takes super patience. Like 6 months of weekly treatments before you see results. Don’t waste time/money on .25 size. Go right for the .5 size. It also helps the effectiveness of whatever skin treatment you are using when you put them on right after. Palmers makes really good products. There is a girl on YouTube that lost 70 lbs and uses it for loose skin. If I can find her I’ll post her name here.2

I hadn't heard of it so I did some Googling. It sounds like this is a form of microderm abrasion and other similar terms. There seems to be some indications of limited improvement in skin appearance but I don't see a specific mention for helping loose skin.

I don't think it helps any more or less than other forms of exfoliation, so I'd treat it along how exfoliation helps, in that it improves the overall appearance of the skin but doesn't actually reduce loose skin.1
