Hi everyone... I’m struggling!

I’m 55...almost to menopause and struggling to lose 40-50 lbs. I’m 5’2”, currently 161 lbs. I have struggled with my weight all of my life. In the past, losing the weight wasn’t the problem, maintaining my goal weight is. The last time I reached my goal weight of 125 was in 2006 and I maintained it until my dad passed away suddenly in 2010. I gained 25 lbs in 3 months. Here I am again, 9 years later trying to lose again. But now I’m older and it seems at this stage of my life it is harder than ever to lose. I started tracking my calories,1200 per day, on MFP about 15 days ago. I’m walking 3 miles 5-6 days per week. I weigh all of my food on a scale. So far I’ve lost 6 lbs, 2 of those in the last 15 days. I welcome friends, advice, motivation, support, meal ideas...🙂
