I found a way to tell if you’re in starvation mode. You put a granny smith apple on your head and you start doing jumping jacks. If you can do 10 jumping jacks without the apple falling, you’re not in starvation mode.
The science behind this method. If the apple falls that means your arteries in your neck are constricted due to lack of fluid which is common in starvation mode. This will make the arteries a bit firmer and stiffer. Also you will have used vital nutrients from the muscles in your neck which will make your neck hold your head in a unsupportive condition. Your thyroid is also located in your neck area, it will be impaired if you’re in starvation mode making it weaker which would cause the apple to fall.
If you’re in starvation mode have no fear, first thing to do is eat that apple. Also eat the magazinze where you read about starvation mode, this will also help increase your metabolism.

Thank you for explaining this so clearly. Sometimes there's so much misinformation thrown around in this forum it's refreshing to see a useful post. :-P0
