Difference in calorie intake via app and website

I noticed there is a difference in calorie suggestion via app and website. With the same weight 137.4 lb and active status, the website shows me 1450 calories intake while app suggests 1380 calorie.

what I should consider approximately?

    Is the difference exercise calories?

If you use the website all day, like I do, and you have a fitness tracker tied to your phone, like I do, you have to go into the app and only after that they will appear on the web interface.

While I don't know that that's the OP's issue, this definitely isn't true for all devices. Workouts that I record with any of my Garmin products get pushed automatically once they've been uploaded. Steps seem to be pushed periodically throughout the day, though I can force it if I open up the Garmin Connect app on my phone. Neither of these requires opening up the MFP app on my phone. In fact, the app on my phone is slower to update than the website.

I'm having the same issue. I recently changed my goals to lose 2 pounds per week, and the app still shows my calorie intake for 1.5 lbs/wk. I don't know what the fix is. Anyone else have this issue?

Make sure your app is updated to most current version. Also try completely closing it (swiping it off the multi screen) then reopen it.

I will make a note of that if/when the question comes around again. What I described is the way it works with the Apple watch unless there is a setting I have missed.

With around 1400 eating goal and set to Active status - I'm guessing you are short.

Can you have the MFP account set for 1 timezone, but the app is using the phone's which is different?
(still, the app is merely connecting to your account and displaying those figures, but still...)

70 cal difference could be a short person's 1 hour difference in calories.

Is your goal 1200? MFP won't give you a goal lower than 1200, regardless of what rate you select.

No, my goal at 1.5lbs/wk was 1650(ish), and my goal at 2lbs/wk is 1420. I finally fixed the problem by uninstallling/reinstalling the app on my phone.

Mine changed this morning from a higher number to lower. I’ll check the website- but I think it’s doing the same as yours.
