Hi everyone! I’m Raeann, 22 yo, in Texas. I’m just beginning my fitness journey and want to lose about 100 lbs. I’ve started eating a lot better but I struggle with finding motivation to go to the gym.

Hi Raeann! I’m Alyssia and I’ve dealt with this before too... what worked for me to just get started was doing home workouts. I got a membership with beachbody on demand which gives you unlimited access to tons of programs. I found my way to a program called Insanity and felt like it worked for me. It was a very good way to get me into working out and once I completed the 60 day program I felt much more comfortable and motivated to go to the gym or complete other programs! Also you could try starting out with walking. I would walk around the neighborhood with my mom every night for 40-60 min one summer and I lost about 10 lbs! It’s a slow way to get your mind and body acclimated to working out! Hope this helps

Hi Raeann, the above sounds good advice we work out in the garden but also go to the gym weekends, try and find a training buddy as you motivate each other we run in the week and then gym at the weekends with watching food too we have both lost 16lbs in a month and are committed to keep going , good luck and get training0
