New here

Hey all. I've never used an online app to track calories and exercise before. I'm pretty discouraged. I have always been fairly fit and not overweight, I've been a runner for 30 years. After two bad years (house flooded, sick parents) and not much exercise and LOTS of emotional eating I've put on over 10 pounds and I'm fat, discouraged and depressed. I can't seem to shake it. My husband is a love but he always brings me ice cream, chocolate etc. We've been married 38 years and yes, I've asked him to please support me but he doesn't'/won't/can't. I'm not going to blame him but it makes my life harder. Yes I've begged and pleaded for his support but it's not going to happen and I need to find my own strength to avoid the temptations. Yesterday I started logging and I was 1000 calories over my goal intake. Ooops. My first goal is to cut out snacks (31% of my total daily calories). Here to be held accountable. :)
