Feeling fuller

Does anyone have any foods or recipes that help you feel more full throughout the day? I never feel satisfied until I feel full and healthier options usually don't fill me,
Thanks
Thanks

this will vary by person and what THEY find filling. some need more carbs. some more protein. some more fat.
For me, it's volume. so i eat a ton of vegetables with limited added fats with my meals so i have "a lot" of food. I also ensure to exceed protein macro, and at least get close to my fat one. carbs fall wherever.4 -

What do you mean by "healthier options"?
There are different strategies to suggest but it would be helpful to know what you are eating now that you find lacking.

This is good advice. Everyone just has to figure out which approach works best for them. In addition, fiber can help some people feel full, but if you want to try eating more fiber, increase your intake slowly. Adding a lot of fiber to your diet all at once can cause digestive issues.2 -

Right now I eat a lot of vegetables but I find it very light and I don't feel satisfied, perhaps its the type of vegetables I am eating though but I am now trying to include more fibre through brown pasta0 -

Veggies are great but make sure you get enough protein and fat in your diet. Many find a little bit of fat, protein and/or carbs are required to feel full.
ETA: also ensure you are eating ENOUGH. some people eat too little when on a diet which leads to hunger (sometimes binging) and then not being able to stick to a calorie deficit for long.

Large salad made with lots of different veggies for volume (I like baby spinach, shredded cabbage, broccoli, bell peppers, carrot, mushrooms, grape tomatoes), add chicken or tuna or hard-boiled eggs for protein, add avocado and 15-30 grams of toasted slivered almonds for fat. 1-2 Tbsp dressing (additional flavor, and fat). Maybe with a bit of fruit on the side if you need something sweet.2

Keep in mind there is a difference between feeling full and being satisfied. Feeling full is a physical state and being satisfied happens is a mental state.
@Panini911 is right that pairing vegetables with proteins and fats may help you. You may also find that some vegetables do tend to leave you fuller for longer. A baked potato does not leave me full for long but half of the same weight in carrots is quite satiating for me. A salad works better for me than a bowl of beets. I still eat baked potatoes and beets but I pair them with other vegetables.
You may also find that skipping a meal so you can have 2 bigger meals to be helpful.
It is also important to remember that your mental state is very important here too and that losing weight should take priority over any unnecessary restrictions. Having treats to keep yourself happy is a way to make your effort sustainable which will lead to better health all by itself. I see it as a common theme here that people assume they need to get healthier by eating healthier without even knowing if their previous diet was insufficient. Almost all food has nutrients and the human body is well adapted to supply its needs from a variety of sources.3 -

Veggies alone may not be satisfying because they tend to be low calorie. That's another reason to add fat and protein.
How tall are you, how many pounds do you want to lose, and what weekly weight loss goal did you select?
What are your protein and fat goals are are you meeting them?3
