In my 50s and need to lose

I have not had a problem with my weight until my knee surgery, now i just cant lose it. Sugar is my addiction. Now my asthma and arthritis is starting to be a problem. Now my doctor is involved. I only need to lose 40lbs. I never thought it would be this hard.

Welcome to the community!
I haven't found this particular process difficult at all. I fill out my food diary a few days in advance. I find that it really helps me keep accountable and on track.
I eat mostly plant based with seafood, eggs and dairy. My cravings for other foods have disappeared naturally, which was an added bonus.1 -
You can do this - age makes no difference!

You can do this, but for me age does make a difference. Finally, at 53 I think I’ve figured out what works for me. I’ve lost 50 pound, but it’s taken over a year of hard work and persistence. I’d love motivation, the kitchen is where I struggle.2
