Have lost weight with every diet known to mankind and gained the weight back each time. Found this app last Thursday so thought I’g give it a go. So far so good! 4 stones to go - it didn’t go on over night so it won’t come off over night but determined to lose it. Wish me luck!

    Hi,
I only started yesterday, like yourself have done every diet going and so many times.
It’s certainly different and a little time consuming counting and measuring all your food, but like yourself I need to lose weight so I’m giving it 100%

Good luck and have a great first week.

    Something to keep in mind.

Logging in MFP is a bit of a pain to begin with but gets MUCH easier after a short while. What you'll quickly find is that you're very likely to have a relatively limited and somewhat repetitive diet. You'll very quickly begin to populate your 'recent' list with all the foods you eat and logging becomes WAY easier and quicker.

For myself, I'd say that logging usually takes me less than 1 minute and never more than 2 minutes per day as everything I'm eating is already previously logged and I just need to tick to add. Maybe once every few weeks I'll have something unique or new and even then logging will never usually take me more than 5 minutes of database searching.
