Whats good ?
I've been on a diet and I'm losing weight ...Happy days. ( I was 88KG and am now 82KG) Plenty of cardio (running) and I do a fairly active job, on my feet all day lifting heavyish goods and packing them for shipment to our clients.
My belly fat isnt going , So I'm joining a gym Friday and plan to lift weights , HITS ,Cardio etc.6 times a week and rest on Sunday.
Do I stick to a caloric defict or maintain ?
Do I need to eat 1g of Protein per body weight pound ?
Ignore my macros ?
BCAA ect suppliments ?
I've been watching youtube vids (Thenx, Athlean-X ,Gabriel Sey ) and am getting overloaded with info, that maybe isnt meant for me.Would someone set me straight and give me a rough Idea what I need to do please.
I want to reach my goal of 79KG ( that's lean for my age and height) ,be slim (no beer gut) and I want to build myself up and be muscular so I can do "muscle Ups" on a chin up/pull up bar bar but not super pumped body builder , just really strong and live a healthy lifestyle for the rest of my days. Im fully aware this will be a long and hard process, but I'm up for it and driven !!
I'm just a bit lost with it all, being honest. First time lifter as well by the way.
Thanks for your time reding this. Any advice would be appreciated.

we can’t dictate where the fat will come off. genetics/our body decided. often the first place we gain in the last place we lose.0

As far as the belly fat, it's often the last to go. You just need to keep getting leaner as you are, and it will come off eventually.
With just a few kg left to go, set your goal to lose 0.25kg per week and lift. You will slowly lose the last 3kg while getting stronger and maybe get some newbie muscle gains in the process. Once you reach goal weight you can decide where to go from there.
It is typically recommended to eat 0.8-1g of protein per lb of lean body mass or goal weight. Calories determine weight loss/gain/maintenance. The protein is for your muscles.
As far as training, that's not my area of expertise, so I'll let someone else chime in there, though this thread might help in the meantime:

i am doing some lifting, my brother in law has the program from some friend of his. We do 5x times a week. Chest/stomach on mondays, shoulders/biceps on tuesday, cardio on wednesdays(for me), legs on thursday, and back/triceps on friday. BCAA is nice for heavy lifting. Just get creatine/food before workout then hydrocarbonates/proteins/creatine on after workout. The faster shake goes after workout the better. I usually drink it after showering at gym.2

Thanks for the heads up on BCAA /Creatine tips. Are all the brands pretty much the same thing ?1 -
You can check examine.com for fairly scientific reviews of the effectiveness and usefulness of most of the supplements that were mentioned1
